I noticed that Nick Pivetta, as well as Spencer Turnbull are still out there available... both younger than Alex Cobb. I don't know if there's still some bitterness between Turnbull and the Tigers, but hey, the Tigers need starting pitching.

Interesting you mention Moncado, I have been wanting Tigers to sign him also. I think White Sox's have been messed up for a number of years, I would like to see Yuan play on a team with good positive chemistry. He is a good plus fielder and has shown a good bat at times. Would like to also sign Ha-Seong Kim to man SS and add versatility in future years. A mix of Colt Keith, Torkelson and J-Hen to man 1st and DH is also interesting. Still think Tigers need to sign a true 2nd starter and would sign Flaherty who seemed to thrive in Detroit. Flaherty, Kim and Moncado could easily be signed and still maintain a low team salary.
