those exhibits for the snakes and other small reptiles are really beautiful, they're easily the best I've seen in one of your tours so far. Also as I newbie who is currenlty watching your older vidoes it was strange to hear you induduce yourself with anothe name lol

Some zoos really outdo themselves with the habitats. I really enjoy ones like the Detroit Zoo has. I changed my channel name in 2000 when new rules came out regarding kid's. I stopped using my other channel for the same reason.

Went to the zoo today. Many Animals were not out. The ones that were out were hidden and hard to see. Had to walk too much between enclosures. Toledo Zoo is so much better. I was very disappointed.

That can be upsetting when you don't see an animal you really wanted to see. I always recommend returning to that habitat later in your visit. Often when I miss an animal the first time, I'll see them when I return later.

Born and raised here in Detroit....many memories of the place...the train ride, fountain, etc. But here we are...2021. The governor stated the masks are pretty much going away by July 1st, a lot of people not wearing them inside the zoo. which they shouldnt even have too seeing they are outside. But I just had what I would call a mask Nazi, come up yelling at me, that vendors coming in have to wear a mask at all times, even outside. And that this is Private Property. Well, thats fine.... if the Detroit Zoo wants to hold onto this so called "pandemic".And Enforce your employees , vendors etc to wear a masks even outside. But not the public? I wonder why? It surely isn't about safety.. holding onto the narrative maybe? I would urge anybody going to the Detroit Zoo don't waste your money.... they are overpriced on most of their items and food anyways. If they have some supervisors that feel big and strong for yelling at other employees and vendors for not wearing a mask. (Outside) . It will not be my money or my family's money ever coming into that place again. Keep stayin woke...smh

Also born and raised in the Detroit area, Redford, back in the '50s. I loved the zoo but as this video has shown, much of it has changed over the decades. Over 5 million people worldwide, over a million here in the US, wouldn't say the pandemic was 'So called'. Masks are a pain in the ass, especially for me since I have COPD but for the same reason I'd better wear a mask and appreciate when others do, otherwise my chances of croaking shoot through the roof, even with vaccination, because successful viruses mutate and infect more people.
