Patrik Pistol Nexus 7 blows all of this out the water with its quad core processor and full hd 1080 p screen 1900 x 1200 and it runs vanilla os so that means its clean and fast

I just ordered one of these on Black Friday at Best Buy for $199! Incredible deal when you compare it to the iPad series's specs, and although it's not as up to date as the gorgeous Tab S series, it's a pretty good package for this broke college student lol. Watching this video has me thinking about how I'm going to use it for both work and play already and I can't wait until it comes in the mail :)

So far it's performing really well, hardly any lag and good for multitasking/streaming video. the only thing that's not that great is the battery life.

I've had mine for a little over a week and having previously owned an Ipad Mini Retina, Lg Gpad and Nexus 7 FHD, I can honestly say this Tab Pro out performs all of them and offers more features as well. I've experienced very little lag (let's be honest every tablet and phone experiences lag) and I'd highly recommend this tablet.

I still have mine in black, it’s in mint condition, in a fully protective Otterbox case and I still use it. I also have an unlocked and rooted 2013 Nexus 7...2013/2014 was such a good time for tablets, they haven’t gotten much better since then. The only tablet I purchased since 2014 was last year when I bought the Amazon Fire HD8 because it was on sale for $50. I mostly use the Tab Pro 8.4, especially for media consumption and games. Was looking at buying Lenovo’s new m10 FHD tab but it still only has 2gb of ram unless I pay much extra for the 4gb! Tab Pro 8.4 still blows some of these new tabs out of the water!

I don't see anything wrong with touchwiz.. sometimes I feel as tho Samsung is the only company that's putting in work and trying to give us the best experience possible with the most features while other companies are taking their slow ass time. great review... now I want them to come out with a flagship Mega 2!

The note 10.1 2014 edition is basically the same as the pro series minus the Hancom suite and it still has the menu button vs recent apps button.

Went to BestBuy few days ago to get Verizon mif ONLY, discovered having $100 off tablets plus $100 vzw bill credit when u do both same time. Have an S3 AND Ipad3 (only got because of retina screen amp and Facetime trumps similar products for me, with family out of state) so wasnt in market for another tablet but couldn't resist the the deal or the galaxy Pro 8.4. Still within my 14 day retuen period but so far, ILOVE this Pro! Cases are not as EZ to find as for Apple products but having SWYPE and directional keys on this tablet totally eclipses my ipad 3. Thanks ... Enjoyed review and to see a hometown guy on UTube!!!

Krishna Rao That's very hard to definitively answer, you have to pick an ecosystem more than a phone these days. All the phones and OSs are fantastic at this point, but ultimately they deliver services differently. I'm pretty much locked into the iPhone at this point, but I love the Nexus 5 and the Lumia Icon I just reviewed (LOVED that phone actually).

The Tab Pro 8.4 easily, the display on the G Pad is fairly poor.

The late 2013 LG G2 had the multi window way before samsung did. The LG G2 was also the one to invent knockon, which u would have to double the screen to turn the device on, but once again the htc one m8 has took the fame for that. Most of the features new phones are coming out with, LG has already done it. Im not hating on samsung but im just sayin that LG was the precedent of these features.
