speaking as an IT guy those computers were well past being recommended to be used in a school setting. Probably slow as dirt and full of problems...but I understand places not always having the money for the latest and greatest technology.

It was honestly crazy just to see how many there were. Truly amazing.

Maybe when the school was unable to renew it's lease, they were locked out? Wow! Big time loss for them and the kids.

The city cut three of these schools at the same time. The three are all in very similar situations. Very sad.

As Dark Knight IT guy said computers weren't a top choice for a school environment. ASUS is a cheap brand. Looked like old netbooks (replaced by Chromebook s) which lack enough RAM memory and not able to enough additional sticks of ram to make it fast enough. The did have webcams in them though

A 3 day suspension for using microwave, vending machine, or copier? If that's what it takes to get suspended, I'm guess all the kids were expelled for other offenses. lol
