The 'beer glitch' isn't a glitch at all. Because JC was already aware about who Smuggler was, Jock just told him to get another beer to talk about Area 51 instead. If JC hadn't been aware or heard about Smuggler, Jock would've told JC about him.

@porkwilliam I got the gist that it was probably a "secret handshake", but I wasn't sure. My question pertained more to the content of the message itself, and if it alluded to a specific book, historic event, or if it might have been just a meaningless sentence such as a contact might ask for a cigarette light from a contact. So he asking for assistance maybe medical then, you think?

Forgot about the prod charger. Regarding the bug, I felt that I needed some entertainment during the conversation between the doctor and the bum. I was already carrying the maximum number of medkits, I dropped one prior to making the magic grab, I never went back for the medkit I dropped, and I never used the medkit I grabbed, so why does it matter? :P And fyi, I said I was not going to _exploit_ any serious bugs.
