Please don’t feel like failures. Being kept awake at night and hounded in every waking hour by thoughts of, ‘what should we do, how are we going to tell THEM, we can’t continue like this etc. A lot of us have had those times in our lives. I think you both know how much you've done in the last five years- the obvious and the not so obvious. A non so obvious thing is the example you've set for people to chase their dreams-the dream doesn't always get finished, but you've set SOMEONE up to cross the finish line with your hard work and vision. I think that with the scope of a historic property such as Montmagner, you have to look at things with a larger timeline. Not everyone can restore such a place all at once and make it perfect, so you pass it on to the next parties that share the love and have the determination to continue the love. I have always been confused that you haven’t built a much greater following - I subscribed very early on and have enjoyed watching you work so hard and achieve so much with such a limited budget. A sad situation for you, however, you have accomplished a lot and learned a great deal along the way. Please don’t stop dreaming and do find a new project when the chateau sells. There is life after Montmagner. I know this because over the last 3 yrs I've been gradually unwinding from my life's passion too. Like you guys, I had a terrible time quitting. Just want you to know you're not alone. I've always been stubborn, so walking away is the most difficult challenge I have undertaken. I can't imagine doing it with an audience. You are very brave people. Look for the blessings. You still have each other. You're still able to work at a level far above many of your competitor channels. And the property looks absolutely stunning.
