Hey Julian, in the dungeon you could make a "staff smashing into the ground" - animation, so when you start gathering resources you can smash the torch into the ground, then disable the carried torch and instantiate a torch at the smash position. Then you can collect your torch when you finished mining and go on! :)

Really cool! I have an idea for you guys, that I think would add a nice mechanic to it. Those chests that you are destroying in the cave. Imagine that you could open them in two different ways: 1) You destroy it, just like you do at the moment 2) You find an hidden key somewhere close to it, you go back to the chest, you open it. BUT you get the option to drag it across the cave and return it to your base. Then you can use it for storage. Maybe it would be a cool way to store stuff that you find inside the cave and you cannot equip. You store it there. When you are done, you drag the chest and you get to keep it all. I am really enjoying these devlogs. Keep up the amazing work!

yeah, also the psychological affect of opening up a chest to see what's inside rather than by bashing it open is better, for me anyway.

I have to say I think you nailed with the inventory. Almost every game nowadays forces you to do inventory/resource management and it takes you away from the experience, and I never thought about an inventory system like yours. Simple and effective, goodbye inventory management, you will not be missed! Cheers and good luck with the game, wishlisted and can't wait to try out the demo! Tips for the future:(just some ideas 😆) Rescources look the same so it needs to have gold and coal being noticeably different Armor sets Dash abilities Shadow step (can walk unnoticed or take over bodies) Teleport (switch with enemy or backstab) Slide instead of roll Multiplayer Npc that can be controlled to do tasked: such as (designated farmer , fisherman, builder , lumberjack, chef) Shapeshifter abilities or other specialties : innate speed abilities or armor set abilities Weapons skills and combos in the form of mods : something akin to warframe Pilotable cart for rescources storage and home storage such as palates Pilotable boats Animals (deer,rabbits, horses, butterflies, birds, bears, tigers, crocks, sharks) Slight terra forming Big bridge creations to travel with horse carts instead of canoe Other islands Swamp island Jungle biome Ice biome with slip feature and ice breakage when walking on it fast(polar bears included) Seals Fishing of all kind Waterwheel for power and electricity Dynamic elements such as tornadoes Tsunamis Maybe have a god or something that gives good or bad karma Ocean looks a little flat tho. Needs some updates. It looks simple and good but Ik you can do better. Enemies need diversity’s slightly predictable. Make it soo the dash at you even when you roll. 😆 imagine you roll and mans dashes well enough and cancels the distance you made then proceeds to violate you like chipotle at night. Swords need to be upgradeable and need to change as you do.

It would be nice if you add building presets, like furnished rooms or buildings that people who aren't that good at building could just use and like fit together like puzzle pieces. Maybe like a forgery set-up, a bedroom, a living room, a storage room, farm area, etc. I think it would make the game more accessible for everyone.
