Unlike the rest of the western cities, L.A haven't completely lost their mind. There's been a lot of clean up around the city since covid. and they're about foreclose on the skid row proprieties and force the homeless population out of downtown L.A. skid row is worth billions in real estate. L.A natives are conservative at heart, its just these out of towners with their gay ass politics and thinking that kill the city. Coming from an L.A native from Inglewood, a middle to upper middle class city within the greater L.A metro area. Mostly Black and Hispanic

This kind of incompetence and, frankly, indifference, is happening everywhere now. There is no enforcement of the laws. When taxpayers see no benefit of belonging to a society they will leave it and they are in droves.

I agree with everything you said, except your accusation of incompetence. This is not incompetence, it’s deliberate! They know exactly what they are doing. Create ghettos, get as many people reliant on government handouts and stay in power forever.
@davidrowe7868 Жыл бұрын
@techrecycle4u That doesn't matter to them. Joe public can have a horrible life and the tax revenues will drop, which accelerates thier ghetto agenda. The care nothing for working people. All that matters is holding on to power, getting donor money from like minded billionaires and enjoying thier elitist lifestyle in gated communities. It's a 'win, win' for them and a 'lose, lose' system for the deprived and blue collar workers. Truly despicable. Nothing will affect thier donor funded lifestyle.
@orppranator5230 Жыл бұрын
@techrecycle4u I don’t think they look far enough ahead to know that eventually there won’t be any taxpayers left. Or maybe they do, and they know that that system is called communism and there will be labor camps for people to earn money to be taxed.

I worry Portland people and Californians are moving to Arizona, Texas, or Idaho, and they will bring their liberal views with them and ruin those states too. I know this is just a dream of mine, but if people move into a red state from a blue state, they should have to wait five years to vote. My wife and I were seriously considering moving from Northern Virginia to Portland a little over a decade ago. We ended up moving to rural West Virginia and have built a beautiful homestead with a tiny house, pond, small chicken flock and apiary. We count our blessings often, grateful that we did not make the mistake of moving to Portland, or any other city, for that matter.
