Does a developmental task in a higher level require accomplishment of the lower level developmental tasks?
@brightideasofhjd4 жыл бұрын
Well, the answer to that is more than just a yes or no. But,let me give you a leg up in arriving to the right conclusion. The successful achievement leads to happiness and success with later tasks while failure, leads to unhapiness, social disapproval and DIFFICULTY with later tasks. Thank you for your question. Hi, what do u think could be the differences between santrock's and havighurst developmental task???
@brightideasofhjd4 жыл бұрын
Hi Lou! The eight developmental stages cited by Santrock are the same with Havighurst's six developmental stages ONLY that Havighurst did not include prenatal period. Havighurst combined infancy and early childhood while Santrock mentioned them as two separate stages. I hope this would help!
