I enjoyed Mafia 3 for whatever reason, so Devil May Cry 2 is like a gourmet dog turd for me. I appreciate you also watching the video btw. :)

My main issue with DMC 2 Is how slow it feels, I doubt it was intentional but using Stinger for movement in DMC 1 was really fun and for some reason they made it really weak in the sequel, so a lot of the Time I'll hit and enemy send them flying and since i didn't have a good way of chasing them I'll just shoot, then I realized how good guns were and just use those making the game less fun. Also only having access to swords as Dante Is really boring.

Hmm, an interesting point. I have a feeling a huge portion of the slow feeling also comes from having to navigate the huge empty areas compared to how tight the first game was with its rooms. At least in the castle. Thanks for watching!

@@Zeruel132 You're right, that's also a factor. There were too many times when I shoot an enemy off screen because they were too far away. I also think the amount of flying enemies with big health bars you start fighting by the end of the game adds to the problem since killing them Is so anoying and slow without guns.

I just finished Devil May Cry 1 again after... Well whenever it came out on ps2. After that I started DMC2, wth it's so easy 🙄 plus I actually prefer DMC1 feel of the battle. Stinger especially feels so.. Floaty and weak

Thanks for watching. It is kinda crazy how much easier DMC2 was. Especially when bosses literally just attack random points on the map. Not sure who playtested that game.

@@Zeruel132 oh yeah, that part about the bosses 😅 I think it was level 3-4, that boss with snake tentacles guarding him, I was playing, thinking if I should try entering tht gate tht is lowering itself really fast or go forward more - > boss, end of level... Whaaaaatttt? I didn't finish exploring 😂😂😂

The game is so bad that the only thing i improved in it was my time finishing it. I became so good that i finished mission 1 and quit after that

Oh trust me, even if you had finished the game, you'd have beaten it quicker than the first game still :D
