@@pedroxdsbr3285 It was not a mistake. The difficulty was as intended. They simply adjusted the difficulty's with DMC3 SE for the NA release. There's a common misconception that JP versions of game are harder than NA releases. In reality NA releases were the same or harder than JP versions of a lot of old school games (mostly 80's 90's and earl 2000's)

When you first play the game (or playing on a higher difficulty for the first time), it's Cerberus taunting you, telling you how you're not ready for the rest of the game as he beats you down multiple times until you learn the basics. When you master the game, it's Dante spitting back Cerberus' own words at him, reflecting how pathetic he is while you style on him with your newfound skills.
