This is very reminiscent of an old commercial I saw for the very first Devil May Cry game. This guy and his wife were in bed and he is dreaming about Devil May Cry and he starts sleepwalking and goes downstairs to the living room and grabs a decorative sword from the mantelpiece and starts smashing everything. This is intercut with bits of gameplay. At the end of the commercial he's standing there looking ashamed with his wife standing there beside him saying "we're taking the game back tomorrow".
