Common Sense Those comments are troublesome. Read too seriously, they get complaints of bringing down the mood. Read too lightly, they’re not respecting the commenter. There’s a lot of damned if you do, damned if you don’t with GDQ content, as reading some of the worse comment sections of these videos will show you.

I remember being able to beat this in half a day on hard mode. I like harder difficulties cuz it adds so much more to the game. New enemies, old enemies with new attacks. This game still solid I think.

Devil may cry did awesome when it came to the higher difficulties. You can tell a lot of thought was put into them and feels genuinely rewarding to beat.

You can get ifrit without air hike but you need a devil star jump high enough to make it to the first platform then jump on the top one from there use devil star jump again activate air raid and get ifrit

The first DMC was and is still my favorite (I just didn't enjoy DMC3 or 5 at all like I did the first one). The whole setting, gameplay and overall design was very good. I enjoyed the layout and how connected everything was, and the enemies were simple enough and still challenging: especially on DMD. I wish they would make a DMC more to this style than the structure they went with from DMC2 onwards. But then again, everyone loves 3 and 5 the most, so what do I know?

Talitor My second favorite dmc is dmc 1 but still it doesn’t hold a candle to dmc 3 with gameplay, level design and story but dmc 1 had that creepy atmopshere and it was legendary in its time.

Didnt know that the first game of devil may cry looks like a lot to resident evil 4, so here´s where RE4 gets it´s influences I guess...

It's actually an early RE4 concept that was turned into an entirely different game. Capcom spent so much time experimenting with RE4 that they ended up with most of the assets and mechanics they'd need to make several completely different games. They probably would have lost a ton of money on RE4 had they not decided to reuse most of that in some form or another. Something a certain designer with a fondness for lighthouses and failed utopias could learn from, IMO.

while holding lock-on move the analog stick behind of the character, then attack while holding back, if you hold attack you will jump with the enemy

Lock on to an enemy, then move the analog stick in the direction opposite of where you're currently facing and press the attack button. It's like that in every DMC game except for the shitty reboot.
