You don't need to buy again to get the weapon. When you hand the LP to Rodin, you automatically get it. Those in the shop are extra pairs, for you to use them on both hands and feet. In short, you get 1 from the LP, and the extra one by using halos.

Yes and if there isnt an alt in the shop then that means the weapon cant be equipped to your legs

Three very big tips. 1. Should you Have to dodge during a combo, holding down the button you're pressing while you dodge will let you contiune the combo. This is called Dodge Offset...I think. 2. If you can help it, make sure you use your Umbran climax after getting a witch time to garnetee a full combo 3. Lots of enemies will stay out of range for punches and kicks like that boss at the end of chapter 1. Remember you got guns when holding X and A Also swords good, bow bad.

Don't forget, you can use all the items you like in this game without any penalties. So heal, strength buff and invincibility-pop like there's no tomorrow.

Also you seem to forget but every weapon you unlock you immediately own. The weapons in Rodin's shop are simply duplicates so that you can wield them on you hands/arms AND feet/legs.

Oh and a little fun fact, the demoness you summoned when fighting Valiance is actually Madama Butterfly. She's the giant fists and kicks that appears when you use wicked weaves/umbran climax :D! She didn't appear in Bayonetta 1 as an actual summon, so seeing her in Bayonetta 2 is pretty cool

The Bayonetta has a special place in my heart due to how unique it is. Both Bayonetta and the game developers are unafraid to show what they've got and that they've got the skills to pay the bills. Everything about the game is phenomenal. The graphics, the character designs, the fighting, the story, the everything. I love all of the lore sprinkled into the game and how they perfectly tie into gameplay mechanics. Bayonetta herself is one of my favorite protagonists of all time. She has such a distinct and attractive personality that you can't help but to be drawn in my it alone. I could play this game for hours on end, and I still wouldn't get bored. It is so addictive and satisfying. It's one of the best games I have ever played and easily deserves all of the praise it gets.

I'm really excited for Bayonetta 3 cause of the whole vibe you get from the series. It doesn't take itself so serious and slapstick enough to put a smile on your face. Regarding the Rakshasa and Kafka, weapons in your inventory. You just forgot to equip them. 2 tips for ya. 1) When find a gold LP and give it to Rodin, you automatically have the weapon in your inventory. The weapons you see in the shop only allow you to equip that weapon on both your hands and feet, where as you could only do one or the other normally. 2) You can craft your own items. The little green/red/yellow balls you find are resources. If you go to your inventory menu and select the recipe book, it will show you what you need to make the items. Using this instead of buying them from the shop will save you a bunch of halos.

That concept art book in the Trinity Masquerade edition looks SO good. I love concept art in general, but I would LOVE to see the design process behind the angels! They have such good designs that manage to be unique even in the “weird angels” space, mostly because they’re not overtly creepy (until you knock the armor off, anyway…), and the boss angels so far have been even crazier and evocative in 2 than in the original! Which is an accomplishment, because Jubileus is one hell of a design (heh.)

Bayonetta gives me so much joy and as sad as I am to hear that Hellena Taylor isn't voicing Bayonetta in the third game due to overlapping circumstances in a recent interview, I am WAY EXCITED to find out that the new voice is Jennifer Hale - Commander Shepard herself! I'm seriously going to miss Taylor's performance but I am also just looking forward to Hale's and Bayonetta 3 should just release already!

At the end of trailer 2 we can definitely hear Hellena's voice as Cereza rips her heart off and summons a kaiju. I believe the "overlapping circumstances" refer to overlapping Bayonettas from different worlds. My only doubt is that in Japanese they kept the same voice actress, so I don't know

Replaying Bayonetta 2 just reminded me of how god damn much I love this game. Before your playthrough, I only got Silvers and maybe the occassional Gold on Normal Mode. I decided to try out hard, and now I'm consistently getting Golds and even a Platinum on Hard! Watching you play reminded me of certain techniques and it's made the game so much more fun. Literally can't wait for Bayonetta 3 and see how the gameplay is, but the story is what I'm really interested in right now! Almost definitely going to use Love is Blue and Bayonetta 2 outfit if they're in the game. P.S. Umbran Spear is amazing. Never sleep on it.

You must be the only youtuber to read the journal entries and other lore books on the platform... and I'm here for it !!! It's such a shame some people skip through them, there aren't that many of them and they aren't that long, but they add a lot of depth to the universe and lore, as well as explaining some plotpoints and even foreshadow stuff at times ! Obviously Bayonetta is an action game so they couldn't possibly add all this exposition and world-building directly in the game during cutscenes or what not because it would ruin the pace, but these books are really really cool and interesting to read. You can even read your Demon Summons' backstory in one book ! Anyway I love your videos on Bayonetta, you're giving the series the respect and appeciation it deserves, and I can't wait for Bayonetta 3 because I've been waiting so long for a sequel, so this one almost feels like a dream.

Honestly, for me, Bayonetta can only be described using a couple words. Bayonetta is 'fashionable', 'fabulous', 'action-packed', and even (like Rodin says) 'beautiful'. Another thing is that Bayonetta 3 really looks to be shaping up to be a main stream, top-selling game, especially with the new techniques and abilities like Demon Slave and Demon Masquerade. That group of Angels you've never seen; they're who replaced Dear and Decorations from the first game. Keep in mind that certain Third Sphere Angels will often assist the Archangels of that rank to appear more dangerous despite being weaker than the other Spheres.

Just a friendly reminder, the LPs in this game work the same way as they did in the original. You hand the LP to Rodin, he makes a new weapon and immediately gives it to you. The "Alt" ones are merely mass production models that have the same abilities so you can stick them on your feet as well.

For the weapons, the Alt versions essentially give you a second "copy" of the weapon allowing you to use both copies at the same time. Weapons like Kafka cannot be equipped to your feet so there is only one "copy". I'm looking forward to Bayonetta 3 to see the new weapon choices and also classical pieces for the LPs for those weapons.

I love the Bayonetta saga, I must admit that i discovered Bayonetta when I saw a gameplay of the 2nd game and when I had the oportunity to play it IT WAS AWESOME, the history, lore, gameplay, characters EVERYTHING WAS PERFECT.
