I love Bayonetta because its one of those games where you can see clearly it was made with passion and love. It's so fun to play it and getting invested in the story and the world of the game. As a person interested in art and fashion Bayonetta is a big inspiration to me, the design of the characters and their clothing fitting so well with their personality is amazing. Bayonetta as the character is just one that is not possible to not like, she is so charistmatic and just herself without any filters (and she is also a very pretty woman what can i say). Once you collected all pieces of LP, the weapon is already in your hand. The other one on shop is for the alternate version so you can equip on both hands and legs. Other tip is that once you finished the full combo of punches you can also perform another wicked weave by pressing kick. Other than that try dodge offset, it's really fun.

In the same way that you use "gunslinger mode" with your hands, try using it with your feet as well. Just rotate the analog and press kick, you can also shoot with your feet, just keep holding the kick button. And just like in DMC you can lift enemies in the air with the sword, just lock your aim on one of them, move back and use the sword button, it will lift the enemy (if he is light) and you can shoot him .

I love Bayonetta for how brutal and powerful she can be when fighting "angels", but she can show concern and affection to the people around her, even if she may looks like an as***** to strangers due to her own way to show that affection. Bonus note: I recently rewatched all the cutscene of Bayo 1 and Bayo 2, and I admire her way more than when I got into the franchise years ago and trying to keep her as a role model when comes to being strong for ourselves and use that strenght for who we love. :') (Bleh, kill me, I didn't mean to make a whole cheesy comment)

Fun fact: Some of the demons that Bayonetta summon are unique, that means there are only one of them exist. And they are based in actual mythological concepts. Like: Gomorrah (The first one we summon) is named after the city of sin in the Bible. Or Malphas (the one summoned against Fortitudo) is a demon of Ars Goëtia, one out of 72 sealed demons by Solomon (dude in the Bible) Also, due to lack of evidence, we don't have any angel being represented as an actual mythological figure. 2° fact: Jormugandr's staff is referencing Jormugandr, he is the ultimate snake that crawls around the Tree of the Life in norse mythology

You can purchase witch hearts and moon pearls at the Gates of Hell and have an alternate weapon equipment set you can switch back and forth to during battle. That way you can switch between your sword and shotguns with a button press. Holding the attack buttons during attacks with the shotguns adds an additional blast with the attack ,and they can be equipped to your legs. I see you figured out that shotgun combo with the Jeane fight, so satisfying doing that 👌

I really enjoy the story of bayonetta's design creation. Since hair is very integral to her, it was decided she would have long flowing hair early on. However, having hip length hair covered her body too much from the camera, making it hard to see her actions. so they came up with over dozens of different designs until they eventually came up with her elbow hair lengths. It's a wonderful example of of character and gameplay working together. Something you really only see in the gaming world.

You know the weapons Rodin makes are in your inventory already. The ones you see in the shop are replicas. Same for the shotguns. You can potentially use them for both your hands and feat.

Experiment with different combinations of equipment. In addition to that, you also have an "A" set and a "B" set of equipment you can switch back and forth to in combat. This is much like Dante switching weapons and styles in DMC5.

The game is a bit confusing in that regard. I remember my first run, I thought I was only unlocking the weapons in the shop, so I didn't equip anything until even further than DB is here, when I just couldn't beat the bosses. It was too hard with just the basic guns.

Especially since, if you equip them to both your hands and feet and they're both in their fire elemental state, you are immune to the fire damage you take from typical scenarios in Chapter 3. This enables you to take down burning enemies without any trouble as well as walk on burning ground without any problems.

Little Advice, you can make more damage if you keep pressed the kick or punch buttons during combos, you’ll shot bullets with your normal attacks and will be more effective during fights

some tips to bear in mind regarding combat you definitely should practice when you replay levels off-camera: 1) a large part of the advanced levels of combat is using Witch Time as often as possible and making use of Dodge Offset (which you read briefly about in part 1) to maintain a high combo count. your attacks combos are much more effective if you can consistently trigger Witch Time from projectiles and weaker enemies attacks (stronger enemies melee attacks won't proc Witch Time no matter how perfect the dodge is, focus on projectiles if they have any). for Dodge Offset, if you hold your attack button mid-combo while you're dodging, you can continue that combo from where you left off. 2) you mentioned before in the last video that people asked you why you were NOT playing the Switch version... the reason being is because the Nintendo editions of Bayonetta 1 AND 2 featured exclusive costumes with their own perks. the Link Costume in particular has a hidden ability built-in you can unlock with an accessory later (it's called the "Moon of Mahaa-Kalaa"). 3) the loading screen actually lets you practice all of your combos as much as you want, so you can better figure out what combo does the most damage OR what can be done quickly. you can also try out all the different techniques for sale before you buy them if you want to be stingy on halos (until you learn how players reach the stage where players farmed the HELL out of angels for the big stuff) 4)you can swap between two presets of weapons during combat, you can set them up in the menu... now, I dunno if it's been fixed, though. there's a glitch where if you equip Durga to your feet in one set and something powerful on the feet of the other set (the glitch is named after a weapon you can unlock later, but the Onyx Rose shotgun will do for now). You do the PPPPK combo with the Durga preset and swap presets before the kicking flurry attack in the final strike, when you pull it off, you'll do obscenely more damage because the weapon will fire way more than it's supposed to.

Just custom case sheets you can swap out if you own Bayonetta 1 & Bayonetta 2 as physical copies. The main problem here is that Bayonetta 1 is not even out as a physical copy. Because of the contents of the trinity pack they had to release Bayonetta 1 as a physical edition which will go on sale a month before Bayonetta 3 and it will be the exact same version that is on the switch online store.

I 100% recommend you buy Bat Within from Rodin (in the techniques section)! Also I recommend using the punch-kick-punch combo more because it's the fastest combo to get a Wicked Weave. If you'd like you could check Yosheque's video on the Dodge Offset mechanic to help you as you practice too :)

Bayonetta2 is my 1st ever cartridge game on my first ever gaming console which is the switch. Bought it as a birthday gift to myself at 27. Bayonetta got me hooked to gaming itself again since I was a child playing on arcades. Bayonetta holds a space in my gaming heart. The LPs turn into weapons you can use right after visiting Rodin, but the ones you buy when they unlock is so you can equip them twice, both on feet and hands. I'm glad you're going through it and will likely go though it again just for fun and will KICK ASS on 2 and 3, just like in Kingdom Hearts >XD Also, good luck to the winners :3

Bayonetta has been my favorite game since the first time I played it despite being only a demo, it amazed me. I love the music, I hear the songs as regular music. I love the taunt animations I love the pole dance atack I love the guns on the heels I love the breakdance atack I love/hate the angel slayer chapter I love the jeanne pose in the last battle against her I love the durga tail with the umbran elegance. Bayonetta is such a great Game, it was the right decision too play the first (maybe you play even the second part later) part of Bayo before the release of the third part. I really like the idea of angels being more monster-like than humanoids. I mean I am not really religious, but if I were, that‘s how I imagine angels. Just in case you didn't notice, when you unlock a weapon with LP it IS ADDED to your arsenal, the ones you can buy are replicas for when you can equip them on the arms and legs (like pistols and other stuff), only a few weapons can be equipped only once so check your inventory before spending on those replicas.

Under the other video I talked about bayo the character, but I'd like to add that I adore the game in general, it oozes style (like any title from kamiya), it has some of the best fighting animations I've ever seen and I like how they tried to make anything that happens in cutscenes actually duable in the gameplay. Ilike every weapon and playstyle and the fact that is one of those easy to play hard to master games (I remember cheesing a lot in my first playthrough, so much so that I went in chapter 4 with every accessory and a lot of techniques, and now I'm on the road to full pure platinum).

I love honest to god everything about Bayonetta. The characters and their desings, the voice acting and of course the sexiness. I am incredibly impressed by the way said sexiness is incorporated into the gameplay and story (which I also adore). And the fact that Bayonetta is sooooo similar to the Devil May Cry series is simply awesome. I almost forgot about the beautiful soundtrack, so soothing but energising.

I love Bayonetta because she's such a strong character in both physical strength and personality. She's so powerful yet she dances around making sure that when she gets her kill she looks amazing doing it. Her confidence and (rightfully earned) cocky demeanor is just perfect. Also the music? BANGER! I can't WAIT for you to play bayo 2. She's my favorite video game character across the board I'm so glad I get to watch you play! Good job in the Jeanne fight! She was always my favorite fights in the game because it's basically a mirror match and that's as close as we'll ever get to PVP in a DMC style game. It's interesting to see how your play style is developing with the weapons and combos you use. VERY different from my own, which relies heavily on the sword and claws on the feet.

Why I LOVE Bayonetta: I only recently played bayonetta and I instantly fell in love with it! The whole asthetic of the game is so stylish, the characters are very charismatic (especially bayonetta), the soundtrack is AMAZING (I don't think I'll ever listen to fly me to the moon again without remembering this game) and the combat is everything I wanted in a hack n' slash. It is very fast paced, has a big variety of weapons, very creative combos and finishers (the torture attacks) and it is not too hard to get the hang of it. Also Bayo is hot.

Bayo is the gold standard for action games gameplay wise, and second to NONE in the style and sass department. That’s why I love this series so much. The characters, their relationships and the lore are also up there.

My main reason of enjoying and playing Bayonetta is simply for lore and world building that they've made and I am fascinated to learn more. The story will always be something I looked forwards to in games and Bayonetta doesn't disappoint in that department, unlike a certain franchise that has lost its railing in the past year. With Bayonetta, the characters designs, the environment as well as the audio cues and tracks are just marvellous and majestic to hear and watch at full display and indeed it gets challenging playing Bayonetta as it is a heavy hack and slash game genre but overall, it perfectly gives me what I liked about gaming in general and it's about the mystique of the characters and their stories. I don't know if you are, but you should read the books that tell you about the Infernal Demons you summon. She uses her hair to open portals and control huge demons she's made contracts with. They're technically not made of her hair, but she uses it to control them. Her main contract, Madama Butterfly is whose fists you see when she does the Wicked Weave punches. The bird you summoned in was Malphas, and the big elephant guy is Gomorrah. I absolutely love all the designs of every entity in this game, and the way the combat works and then you get to summon these massive creatures when you finally beat them is so satisfying! I cannot wait to see you play the rest of the game and then play the second one! I'm so happy to see someone enjoying the game as much as I did the first time I played it, I wish I could do it again! :)

Massively excited for Bayonetta 3! I love the fast, frenetic action of this series (certainly, a cousin of Devil May Cry)! It's easy to jump into but a real challenge to master the wild combos that are available to our heroine. Of course, the style and creativity of this franchise is undeniably top-notch, from the level design to the angelic and hellish denizens of the world and all points in between...not least of all our favorite super-powered witch!

ok since I already spent my ramble on last vid's giveaway, here's ANOTHER couple reasons I love Bayonetta: I love Bayonetta bc of the presentation of the story. The flashbacks don't feel forced or take anything away from the story, I love how suave and smooth talking everyone is, it almost feels like an espionage story. Bayonetta is a badass genderbent angel slaying version of James Bond. It just feels like an action movie from start to finish, you're unable to pull yourself away from the game until the story is done, at least for me.

I love the game because it's unapologetic about everything! There's crazy action, lots of blood, sexiness to the max. Old school button masher but also plenty of nuance if you truly apply yourself. And also, as a mostly Nintendo gamer, when Bayo 1 and 2 came out for the struggling Wii U, it was a shining moment in it's lifetime. Me and the other 12 guys who had Wii Us were static! And then she won the Smash ballot, I was screaming during the reveal!! I love that you're playing it DB!

I really like Bayo so much because i accidentally stumbled upon her greatness in a clip of her posing her ass down while fight a million of monsters and all of the long fights that they put my patience through. I grew up playing Devil May Cry and I love playing it until now with Devil May Cry 5. When Bayonetta 1 came out, I initially thought that I'll enjoy it just as much as DMC but boy, Bayonetta definitely proved me wrong. I fell more in love with all the Bayonetta games because of how much depth and perspective it has in terms of the lore. It gave life not just to the characters, but also to every bit of the details. The story behind every weapon, demon, angel, location, and even down to the ingredients of the concoctions. I can definitely feel the effort and love that the devs put into this and created a world where I feel like I wanna be part of.

It’s an incredible game that slowly reveals it’s mechanical complexity as you go through it, harder difficulties included. Dodge offset, parries, wicked weaves, the different weapons just perfectly complement each other into a sublime experience. It’s funny, the game ends up recycling levels over and over and despite of that it’s still fresh every time because how deep enemy encounters are.
