We really enjoyed our visit to Devil's Tower! Such a mysterious and wonderful place to visit. We did the paved hike around the base of the monument and enjoyed every minute of it. The sites and sounds were very serine and peaceful. This is definitely one of those places one must visit!

This is part of my Home place, I was raised in Wyoming. I would suggest going through the Big horn Mountains Range and going to Yellowstone Through the Wind River Basin. It is as pretty as heaven on earth. Cody is kinda Touristy but the east gate to Yellowstone is the best way of getting there. I was raised in these mountains.

I was there about four years ago and left there to go to the Little Bighorn Battlefield on the way to Yellowstone. While in the area, I stopped at Pompey's Piller which is a national Monument on the Yellowstone river east of billings. William Clark of Lewis and Clark put his name on the large rock beside the river. The only reminder of their expedition that still exist today. Also, go up the Beartooth Pass on your way to Yellowstone. It is over 10,000 feet and it's great. You can then enter Yellowstone at the Northeast entrance. Enjoy your videos here in Tennessee! Great job guys.

Oh man you guys are getting to see it all. I certainly home you get all the way to Glacier. This trip of yours sure brings back memories of when my daughter and I went out that way. The only place we didn’t have time for was the devils tower. The whole structure looks like a gigantic petrified tree stump from the time of the dinosaurs. Have fun at Yellowstone tomorrow. They have several trails around the park to walk in between all the geysers and other structures around the park. I hope you’ll check out the different trails/boardwalks around the park you can visit. They have several geysers you can visit around the park and a hot mud pool on one of the boardwalks. Get ready to see yourself some Buffalo. The park had several herds of them. I just hope you guys get the chance to see glacier. The scenery is breath taking and you can drive your own vehicle up or take one of those long Jammer busses on an interpretive tour of the park. Thanks so much Adam and Abby for all the footage you have shared along the way. Can hardly wait for your next video.

You’re going to love Yellowstone! We went there when I was just a kid about 55 years ago. It’s like no other place on earth. I can’t wait to see your reaction to it’s beauty and once in a lifetime wonders. There are lots of black bears everywhere but we were lucky enough to come across a grizzly bear begging along side the road and while at Old Faithful an elk wandered thru the geyser complex and the crowd which the rangers said was a very rare event to witness. It was quite a sight for this Kansas farm boy to behold

My wife and I took the kids to Yellowstone in the 90's just after the Yellowstone fire. Lots of burned trees. A bit heart breaking to see. And after visiting the Yellowstone lodge, i could see why there was such an effort to prevent it from burning Such a magnificent building. We also did the Devils Tower walk around and Mount Rushmore along with visiting and staying over night in Deadwood

Next stop, Custers Last Stand. it's awesome like everything else out that way. Sit on the veranda and listen as the Rangers explain the battle and chain of events that led up to it, then the Indians tell their side of it. You can easily spend half the day listening then walk about a bit and back into the car and up along the ridgeline. Stop and read all the placards and look down on the markers that show where the troopers ended up. You'll never forget the visit. You continue northwest through Billings then southwest on 212 to Red lodge then on to Bear Tooth pass (incredible in its own right) and into Yellowstone. We always stopped at the restaurant in Roosevelt campground. Be ready to sit in traffic as the tourists have to take pictures every time a squirrel comes within a hundred yards of the road. Too bad you missed Hot Springs Mammouth archeological dig a bit south of Rushmore. Next time. Hey guys! if you leave Yellowstone to the northwest, it's a half days drive to Glacier National Park. The whole drive up from the interstate is some of the most beautiful scenery in the country. Be sure to drive Going To The Sun Road after you get the rig parked.

Just a thought on "unprepared" people. Many people go someplace just expecting to "see" the item and not even realize there is more to do, they never planned to do a hike, or even needing to walk long distances. This is so common. When I was younger (probably close to when you were born), we saw the same things then. Heck, our family ran into things like this where we were going someplace and end up needing to walk a REALLY long way, and my sisters wearing non long distance walking shoes. Thankfully the family learned relatively quickly to have good walking shoes in the old van with us so we could change if need be. Back then NOBODY had water bottles, NOBODY. You just dealt with it back then. I can't tell you how many times we'd get back to the main location and hit the water fountain. Back then that's what we had, no bottles of water, heck, even pop (soda) wasn't that "popular" to find in a gift shop. So, yea...how did we make it 45 years ago is beyond me...LOL... Good stuff, this place is on my list. We got close, but never made it to Devils Tower. :(

@@AbomAdventures Yep, but many don't read them. Even then, they are "I walk ALL OVER the place in these"...unaware that a mile is a lot further than walking around the hotel or their house. LOL...We learned, and my parents were pretty good about ensuring comfortable walking shoes if we were going to need them.
