Nagumo has got to be my favorite character introduced in this game. Imagine Rikiya, but dumber. The fact that he's played by Hiroyuki Miyasako himself is the icing on the cake.

After battling Nagumo a few times, he'll get in trouble with Matsuzoe due to the commotion in the snack bar, and Kiryuu goes in to stop Matsuzoe(and saving Nagumo's ass in the process). Nagumo then thanks Kiryuu, and Kiryuu added "...Well, a man's gotta be wanting to show off in front of the woman they fell for. I agree with you on that." Nagumo, realizing that Kiryuu's way beyond his league, pledged his oath of loyalty to Kiryuu, and starts calling him "aniki". He then introduces Kiryuu properly to the rest of the Hirose Family members(Yuuta and co).

The fact that the full version of yakuza 6 accidentaly got released yesterday really keeps bugging me. I love the yakuza series, but delaying the game and now having to wait over two months although the translation seems to be done - WHY? Why do we have to wait any longer? Now would be perfect, I've got some free time on my hands and would love to play through this game. Instead, i have to wait two more months and in april i dont have that much time to play. Fuck.

The demo starts at the beginning of the game and ends right before Kiryu gets to Little Asia for the first time, which is halfway through chapter one. After that, you can endlessly explore the entirety of Kamurocho though, earn XP, do substories, play minigames, fight thugs, etc. Some minigames are blocked, you can't get into Club Sega for example. And you won't be able to go to Onimichii (spelling?). You also can't purchase abilities but you can upgrade stats and save XP for when you export your save to the full game.

kiryu moveset looks good here but i hope sega won't design a boss which near death become unflinch even by finishing blow (this boss fine thought)

The bosses don't necessarily become immune to flinching after becoming red, though they do gain one or two attacks that can't be interrupted by basic combos. The health bars also sort of lie in regards to how they distribute health. The last third of the health bar will always take longer to drain than the first two-thirds, especially in regards to Amon.

Depends entirely on you. Look at more gameplay videos, see what people think of it, but ultimately form your own judgement and don't let anyone decide that for you. Many people easily give 6 a lot of shit but personally, I loved 6 for what it is despite its flaws, I think that each and every game has flaws, and 6 is one of them.

hmmm my main question is does the game play make up for the story flaws...that would convince me whether to buy this or not. most of the criticisms i've read are about the story though there's been one or 2 bits about the game play that's why im unsure :(

garou12 I played with the game a bit and kamurocho is gorgeous and combat feels a lot more dynamic already. once you level up a bit the combat in this game is a lot more fun than previous games in my opinion. not to mention the minigames. I hear there's not as many but the ones that are here are amazing like the full port of virtua fighter
