I still can't find reviews of LFR-412 in KZbin. Yes it's expensive and not necessary for most, and yes there are smaller models like 112 and 212, but it would be fun to see some gear enthusiasts fiddle with this.

@@primordialhumandwarf hey mate. Yes, I play bass in the band. I use the lfr 212 for stage volume. I'm using hx effects and two notes le bass at the moment. It's real good.

Mostly thee are ine. You might want to add a sub if your running a 5 string or want to throw a sub into your effect chain. I use the same axe-fx and FRFR cab for my bass as I do my guitar. Fun fact: One of the most revered Guitar Cabs of all time was the old Fender Bassman. Yeah it was designed for the bass, but it had that... something... that guitarists to this day covet.

It’s basically a 4x12 pa speaker with a cab sim built in.

The Laney Lionheart is the single best amplifier I have ever heard in my life. If I needed modern metal, I'm sure their iron heart series would do the job. Open your mind, friend. You may be getting fooled by marketing.
