Lyrics:
You are a sun Goddess
Will you save me?
Hooray for you.
Hooray.
Now the rain it comes, the rain it blurs the grey line
...the grey line...the Greyhound home
You are so vicious (Hurt me, I can take it)
Cause it's all in the heat of the moment,
It's all in the pain
Sonar, sonar again...
It's on again, (got no wings...gossamer wings...) ...on again...
You are a sun Goddess!!!
Will you save me? ...babe...babe...babe...
Cause it's all in the heat of the moment
It's all in the pain!!!
So give in to the heat of the moment
Give in to the pain!!!

I think what impresses me most about Devin is the fact that this is an hour and a half into an almost 3 hour set, and he continues to sing perfectly. Such an incredible performer

Aside from the technically stunning singing, Devin has this extremely raw emotion that seems to just explode out of him, particularly during this song. Amazing.

This is Devin's song that i listen to the most! It's amazing how It's fluid, and aehtereal! But why not putting out a solo on that long instrumental section! It would be GREAT! An epic solo! WOW... Why? Because the song don't need it! It's just about feeling the energy and the paced rhythms! Perfect!!

Since this video was released, Devin Townsend has released a new version of this song that truly outperforms this one, it's the "live in plovdiv" version and it's truly amazing! yes. its been a journey for me for over 20 years. Dev and I are only a few months apart and so are our sons. Its funny but the albums that came out from syl to solo stuff kinda matched, most of the time to what I was feeling. Terria fucking knocked me big time. The line 'and I'm 29 years old and I'm a million miles away' just hit me, really hit me on first listening. What an awesome artist. He covers all the emotional range I require.

Really enjoy your reactions, and I noticed that chill you got at 4:33 as well. Whether you're reacting to it or not, go back and listen to the whole second half of the Royal Albert Hall concert. The songs were chosen via a poll of his fans and are equally masterful to Deadhead. It's a special concert for sure.

I love the way you fell the music and love it more that you react this way to Devin, my "all time" favorite since I heard his voice in Steve Vai's record "Sex and Religion"... (My avatar is an homage to his own logo...) This year is the 20th anniversary of his "first" album "Ocean Machine: Biomech" and there is a song in that record that is one of the most beautiful songs I've heard from him, "Thing beyond things"... So soft but powerful at the same time. But for me, the record that changed his mind and his way of singing and performing is "Ki". I fell that you would love that record, specially "Heaven's End". I f$%&#ng love your channel and keep reacting!! :)

ok so here are some songs i will hroup them by albums: Down From The Sky - good mix of clear and growls but mpstly growls Throes of Perdition - song they close thier shows Shattering The Skies Above - more agressive alot of grwols and screams In Waves - on this album they they started using alot more clean vocals with the growls Built To Fall - vocals getting more clean Silence In The Snow - vocals changed to be more melodic and cleaner but honestly my favorite song is the epic 11 minute long : shogun just a rollercoster of metal !!
