hey david, thanks for the vid. i have an issue with animating, when i finished rigging/skinning and then turned figure mode off and tried to animate the biped structure, the mesh does not follow its animation. im wondering whether we should change and alter the mesh weight or the biped weight ? or it is a problem that involves 3dsmax.?

Способ неплохой, но у меня сработал без этой галочки в окне merge как раз)) Автору спасибо. Ниже в комментариях описали более удобный способ, который у меня тоже сработал!

ok, so I have a Group(and edit mesh box with the faces deleted) to hold all my bones controllers and character mesh. I had this guys animating but realized my scaling was wrong for in engine(unreal4) so i scaled only the group (using the scale tool), which scales every thing. and now when i scrub the animation it deforms the bone. any help?

dnaltiam did you watch the video? Why are you using transform to scale, when I clearly said that won’t work in the video above..
