INXS has soo many hits. The are definitely known as one of the best live acts in the world. Unfortunately, we lost Michael Hutchence (singer) in 97. The band tried to recover, but it was not an easy road. Michael was a force of nature, as you can see and those guys were together since the early 80s. Fortunately there is so much to look back on and I really would love to see another generation become familiar with the contribution this band made to music. Some official videos you should check out are Need You Tonight/Mediate. (Please don't leave off Mediate, it's an essential part of the song), Disappear, By My Side, The One Thing and Falling Down The Mountain/Kiss The Dirt. Also, here is another must see, must react live song called The Loved One: kzbin.info/www/bejne/il6zYp2GppyNgNU

INXS has 10 studio albums, many movie soundtracks, independent projects and many live concert versions, and much more. They have many hits and more. They were the best live band and have the awards that confirm it. Michael has a few acting credits to his name. I was able to see them twice in concert and they will always be my favorite Band.

Your reaction is one of the best I've seen in a long time. Unfortunately, the singer, Michael Hutchence died in 1997. The other members however are still alive. They tried going on w/out him but, it didn't quite work. I saw them in concert in 1988. Yeah, they were good then too. These guys are amazing live. My mom took me to see them three times! There're one of the few bands I can say are kid tested and parents approved. They had a string of top ten hits from 1986 to 1991 in The States. You should check them all out and you won't be disappointed. What You Need (1986) Need You Tonight (1988) Devil Inside (1988) New Sensation (1988) Never Tear Us Apart (1988) Suicide Blonde (1990) Disappear (1991) They also had two other top forty hits: The One Thing (1983) Not Enough Time (1992) Check out all or any of these and you won't be disappointed. I also suggest seeing more of the Wembly Stadium performances like New Sensation. That one rocks too!

If you havent truly experienced INXS you are missing out on something epic!! The parents (who grew up in the 80's) of the new gen kids are doing a great disservice if they arent introducing you guys to some of the greatest music ever. The bands from Australia and the lead singer died in 97' (sadly). Otherwise, you'd definitely be hearing about them. They play their own instruments.....amazing. New sensation, suicide blonde, and the whole KICK album is awesome. Definitely check it out. I was 17 at the time of this concert and Im so bummed I wasnt there. That is a once in a lifetime performance to experience. What a great loss of Michael Hutchence (lead singer), one of the greatest frontman of all time!!

You need to listen to more of INXS music. They were the IT Band in the late 80s and early 90s. In order of time starting with the earliest are as follows: STAY YOUNG, TO LOOK AT YOU, BURN FOR YOU, THE ONE THING, LISTEN LIKE THIEVES, DEVIL INSIDE, NEW SENSATION, MYSTIFY, NEED YOU TONIGHT, THE JULY 1991 WEMBLEY LIVE CONCERT (which you started with), SUICIDE BLONDE, THE STAIRS, BEAUTIFUL GIRL. I will get back with some more. Don't be fooled with the Devil inside song. If you listen to the lyrics, you will see the truth in the title. Also, Suicide Blonde is another term for platinum blonde hair. It is NOT a song about suicide. BTW, the JESUS shirt that Tim Fariss wore was a bow to JESUS. He thought it was appropriate to recognize Christ. I heard him say that in a recent podcast. His explanation was that JESUS helped a lot of people and that He is a positive role model for millions. Tim and Kurt (the sax guy) were involved in a Christian band when they were teenagers. Youthful passions got in the way. But the nevertheless, this was one of the biggest gigs of their lives and Tim was not afraid to promote JESUS. Other than that, I cannot speak to where he stands today with his faith. Just a little background about the JESUS shirt.

So many hits to count! And yes, they were Christian. Or many were. Tim who played the riff said before going on he believed Jesus was a cool dude who changed the world. So, he wanted to give him praise. Not sure they were born again types though. Many gave you songs to listen to, but I especially love their last CD Elegantly Wasted. There is a song Michael wrote about being just a man that is his life, in essence. He was in a dark place then, his late 30's. Had a TBI too, traumatic brain injury that brought him down. A taxi guy sucker punched him causing him to land on his head. Had he stayed and gotten immediate help things might have been different, but he forcefully left the hospital. That's a sign too, of a TBI. Wish Michael could have listened more to the God he spoke of, as he was drawn into drugs and a more hedonistic path. Not sure he'd look at it that way though. He believed in exploring, let's say. He was a deep man, humble too, that suffered from depression following the accident. He took his own life at 37. So sad!

Gibby you really needed to look at the lyrics! Not a Christian band or Christian song, it was a song about sex, I think a prostitute or at least a band groupie on her knees! It was definitely a popular song by a very talented band, the Sax and guitar really sings in this song! Just because they wear a JESUS shirt does not make them a Christian band, hopefully they gave their lives to Christ, that is what we all hope and pray for that everyone will be Saved by JESUS CHRIST! Of course we can't say whether or not they were Saved, only GOD knows the true heart of each man. But based on the song, it definitely does not indicate they were a Christian band. But like everything Gibby, we love the music and your reactions, dancing, and just feeling the music.
