Again: The Bees Gees are fantastic & IMHO, right up there with Earth, Wind & Fire, Queen & MJ.

The Bees Gees are fantastic & IMHO, right up there with Earth, Wind & Fire, Queen & MJ. And, speaking of MJ. he loved the Bee Gees- he & Barry Gibb were friends. I come from a family of musicians, so as a kid, I knew a bit about the Bee Gees, but just recently really saw them & am absolutely in love with this group. Some great news is that it looks like there is going to be a biopic film made of the Bee Gees, directed by Ridley Scott with Barry Gibb, the lead singer in Too Much Heaven, as one of the producers!

Notice how genxrs songs had the word Lord and God in them. I just noticed hardly anymore except country, I think.

Great song of the 60’s and forever. Quintessential California vibe. The Band was anything but religious like Christian’s would be but their gift was harmonizing. Credit to the back up session band The Wrecking Crew.

Love your reaction to The Carpenters. Karen's voice was pure perfection. She left us too soon. Other great vocalists I recommend are Linda Ronstadt (Desperado; Long Long Time) and ABBA (Agnetha Faltskog and😢 Frida Lyngstadt - SOS; Fernando; Super Trouper; The Winner Takes it All (just to name a few).

Love Bee Gees. I know this was from 3 yrs. Ago. I only saw one person saying what the song is about. But I get a completely different meaning. Something Bee Gees did a lot. They would write songs that were about love, but it was not always about loving a woman. This song imho... Is them singing about the music. They had just been in a big slump. And couldn't make a hit. They were exploring different sounds. This song is about their love for the music. That's why it begins w/ the line... Here we are, in a room full of strangers... standing in the dark, Where your eyes can't see me... And so on. When the music switches up to a slower tempo, they sing of Make it like it was before... and how They will wait, even if it takes forever. And earlier, they say , standing in the line....and well I had to follow you, though you did not want me. That won't stop my love for you, I can't stay away... (some people think this Has a stalker creepiness to it)... as I See in many comments. But this is speaking of how the music business Just isn't working for them currently. But, they will never give up pursuing It, even if takes forever, takes a lifetime ! And their blaming it on their love they have for that feeling when they perform... Singing those love songs... straight to the heart songs. I think many confuse their lyrics, and Always think it's about a woman. But They used their real life situations, W/ many things. Other people, their other bother, and even their feeling for one another. Weather it be competition w/ one another (Barry/ Robin)... or after they had broke up in their early years, I feel their song "Lonely Days Lonely Nights" was about how they missed one another while they were apart... God Bless You & your Family. ♥️🕊

I'm a Native American/ Hispanic grandma/elder and Little brother, the way this song touched your heart and spirit I would bet there is some Native blood running thru your veins. Especially the way you reacted to our Native dance and the drum I could definitely see you dancing in the Circle at one of our pow wows. Thank you for what you do. ❤❤❤❤
