Can I just say that these dialogues are blessing so many of us, both men and women? As an educator and life coach I am learning so much and having epiphanies I’ve never had because I can’t think as a man! I made a promise to God after reading The Wait that if he called me to end my relationship, I’d recommit myself to him and commit to The Wait! Just when I walked away for the new year, this happens! Perfect , Perfect timing and amazing displays of vulnerability and understanding! Now I get to heal my wounds and go out into the world with these new ideologies about men, life, and love! This message was so informative. I appreciate how Ricky became TRANSPARENT for ALL men. He kept it and share 100 percent of his trails, struggles and tribulations he has went through. His message made me understand that not only do daughter have ‘daddy issues’ but men do also. I also love the statement when he said ‘even though we love and believe in God We still have yet to ‘clean our house.’ Basically saying we need to totally SURRENDER. Can’t wait for him to write a book. And, last but not least, thank Pastor Franklin for writing this book and for continuing to bring us knowledge of men. You are absolutely right! I am loving this level of vulnerability from men and all the layers that are being pulled back! Men have been taught to hide and discard their feelings but I am noticing a level of transparency I haven’t seen before! Is definitely like to attend an event like this catered to men. How can we grow and evolve if all we do is look at things from a woman’s perspective?

I am glad men are opening up about the issue I was married for 21 years to the love of my life. Marriage is hard but the foundation must be built on Christ, you have pray all the time for God to give both of you strength it does take a lot of work, no one really talks about how much it's a daily work, each has to pray for each other that we have eyes for only each other.

I struggled with my ex spouse who had addiction issues & decided that was his life. Seeking help is so tough for men, his pride & ego wouldn’t allow for it. I love these convos but I have to address one thing: "women say they want the truth but can't handle the truth, they get mad" #1 a mature woman understands that the truth aint always pretty #2 just bcus a woman gets upset about the truth doesnt mean she can't handle it #3 why u give up so easily just bcus u tried once and she was "mad" the first time? That sounds weak to me and an excuse to continue to keep the truth away. #4 what do u mean by "she gets mad" what are her actions, words, or whatever that makes u say "she gets mad at the truth" #5 do YOU always hear the truth in a nice way and wud u like ur woman to keep stuff from u just cus she thinks u gonna "get mad" are u gonna accept that excuse from her????? ----these are my thoughts when I hear men say women can't handle the truth.
