Timing wise there might not be enough room for an Ermes "decider" for Levan. I think Brian's overall base is higher than Larry's, plus his size alone allows him to match or exceed Levan's weight.

For sure, Larry is strong in a few specific lifts, whereas to succeed in Strongman you have to be strong in every way and athletic too. It's a more practical form of strength conditioning; he also dwarfs Larry in sheer mass. I don't know what Brian weighs at the moment but when he was regularly competing in Strongman he walked around at a casual 400lbs+.

I think Larry has progressed very well. When he first pulled with Devon we knew he had potential but I don't know who really thought he would pursue the sport enough to be a top 10 guy in North America just a few years later. When Devon pulled him that day I feel like we thought "man if this guy trains he could be a problem at his weight in NA", and that is literally what has happened

Brian should be very similar to Khaled, both have that crazy hand strength, both of them could go far in the sport if they commit themselves. They both have a legit chance of making the top 15 in world in 3 years and that's pretty good since they have no real arm wrestling experience. Neither will ever face Levan, too many guys in front of them, if they started ten years earlier then they would have a shot.

It's arm wrestling, not rocket science. It's not outside of the realm of possibility that someone that's just incredibly strong (like World's Strongest Man strong!) could learn and correctly implement arm wrestling techniques very quickly. Experience can become extremely overrated at some point. For example, Devon's massive experience "advantage" didn't come close to impacting his outcome with Levan.......TWICE.

Brian Shaw is not Larry Wheels. Larry Wheel is a muscular phenom. He's incredible when it come to explosive strength and one rep lifts but size of joint and overall size period is not very impressive. Brian Shaw on the other hand is just a monster in all areas. Strength size explosiveness toughness. His joints and ligaments are like Shaqs. This could be a serious contender.
