Honestly it's so refreshing to see people doing the lift the correct way. And even better calling themselves out when they actually you know use their legs/ body when lifting it. That's why Devon gets into that extreme squatting position where his butt is almost touching the floor. He doesn't raise any part of his body to take the weight off of the ground except for his arm and his pronation. Besides you guys everyone else that I've seen is using the entire body to lift the weight off of ground.. good job guys! 🔥
@derbycityarmwrestling7300 Жыл бұрын
The only thing that makes that lift easier is if your forearm tilt raises. If you lift with your legs, you're still going to get opened up in the same way failing the lift.
@fletcha7777 Жыл бұрын
@@derbycityarmwrestling7300 hell no it matters how you apply the belt, I've seen a lot where they have it going around the thumb but also then going over the wrist so there basically eliminating the thumb and the wrist in the lift. There's tons of nuances and factors into this lift.

@derbycityarmwrestling7300 Жыл бұрын
@@fletcha7777 Oh for sure it actually matters how you apply the belt, but whether you squat or lean the weight up I don't think it matters because your arm is still the weakest link.

What's impressive here isn't the lift, but the pronation staying intact with 128 pounds pushing down your thumb sideways. Most hands would flatten before anything else moved.

@@Trey-Farmhand-Suit Mate, you cupped your wrist on both 78 and 83, and also completely lost your riser on the 83. Stop ego lifting and focus more on your technique. This lift is designed to work the riser way more than the pronation.
