Hip replacement surgery would not put him out very long. I just had one and he could easily be ready for a match in 4 months. In 2 weeks after surgery he would be able to start training on the table no problem.

Yes. Hip replacements are very common and have one of the shortest recovery times and highest success rates of any major surgery. Knee replacement surgery has longer recovery times and shoulder surgeries are often unsuccessful (as you know Pradeep). But hip replacements are great. Denis will not be out for long and his hip will feel amazing.

A hip replacement would not keep you out more than 3 months depending on what kind of hip replacement he has. He should get an anterior total hip replacement. They go in from the front. Traditionally they go in from the side. When they go in from the front they do not cut the muscles they just move them out of the way. That makes your recovery much faster. You are up walking the day after surgery.

I love how people dont understand what devon does in the set-up. When you put the straps he Is loading pressure and you either fight It and he Is pumping your finger flexors or he can get through the straps and get a way Better position. You know when he says "put your elbow down"? He Is pulling you trying to go trough the straps and get a Better angle of the straps to pull you in an advantaged position. Denis is too young for a hip replacement. Doctors won’t do it unless you’re 60+. There’s too much of a risk of it needing to be replaced again, and a hip replacement is just as devastating as heart surgery in terms of recovery
