Thanks for the review and your other content. The DCS573 is the Flexvolt Advantage saw, so it will work even better with an actual Flexvolt battery--it looked pretty strong with the 8ah 20v battery, though. Would enjoy hearing your view of the relative merits of the Dewalt and Makita worm-drive-style saws, an your opinion of the Metabo HPT multivolt circ saw if you have used it. Happy 2021 to you.

Rear handle saws have some advantages but not really worth the weight they have. I have the 60v version of that saw and it’s very powerful but also compact and lightweight. As for sight lines I just use the zero indicator no need to look over to look at the blade.

Your blade guard handle isn’t bent apparently it’s designed like that went and checked two display models there identical to my new one so it must be for easier access with gloves .

So unlike the delicates 60v only Dewalt (don’t know the model number) this will take the 20v batteries AND the 60v flex batteries? I’ve got conflicting information…

The felx advantage will take both 20v and flexvolt batteries

Dr Decks Great channel. You may prefer the DCS578, which is the 60v version of this saw. It is better built and much more powerful.
