Dewey Buffing Constellation in a Game of Throws | World of Warships: Legends

Demented Dewey build on the T7 USS Constellation. This video is probably more about the horrific throw at the end, though. It comes courtesy of a blue team mate whose name I have tried to censor in order to protect him from being called out and embarrassed too much. My editing skills are a little potatoish, though. If I missed his name somewhere, I apologize. Don't call it out it.

More evidence of both 'lose your way to the top' and a consequent lack of any kind of knowledge of ship characteristics combined with no situational awareness whatever. This is what makes playing at the upper tiers frustrating.

Stuff like this doesn't even bother me anymore. I watched a BB keep asking for intel last night and not engage a single ship. The three of us (two cruisers and BB) are on the flank with our two cruisers engaging a BB and cruiser. Did our BB (who kept asking for intel) fire? Nope - just pulled back behind an island. The two of use ended up in a sort of crossfire from a second battleship that came in to support the first BB and cruiser. So what is the intel BB doing now? Well he's moving at flank speed to the corner of the map after getting a slight scratch on his paint. He waited there till we were both dead (as was the rest of the team by this point) and then moved in to the cap to die.

Man that was tough to watch but I've seen it far too many times before. I run Dewey on Missouri and it's effective (don't have Constellation). GG Captain...shame that victory was thrown out the window😢

Good game in the Connie. Left them with the win…… Had an identical game happen yesterday. Had it won with points with one teammate and myself left vs two of the Reds and he decides to engage and got sunk with less than 10 seconds left throwing the points, and the game . I don’t think people pay attention to the STRATEGY it takes to win.

You might be right. I did some editing to try my best to erase the Baltimore player’s name so that he wouldn’t be named and shamed for throwing. And it’s possible I threw off the audio sync it with the gameplay.

Wouldn't replacing the girl with Swarovski increase your concealment? I'm not sure of the percentages

Yes. She and Swirski have practically the same percentage effect on concealment. The only reason to use her over Swirski is because she also reduces the chance you get lit on fire by a small percentage whereas Swirski is detect only. But other than that, they’re both essentially the same in terms of much they buff the concealment. They’re either exactly the same percentage or within a couple tenths of a percent.

I don't get on with the Constellation, but I started using a Dewey build and have moved through most USA BB commanders and just can't find one that works for me and this ship. I just can't get the guns to work consistently, no matter the build. I keep letting off a salvo, it looks absolutely fantastic but somehow half the shells fall short and the other half go long!! It just doesn't appear to fit with the advertised sigma for this ship

I'm running Const. With Dewey someone suggested him. Don't remember who though. He's working out way better than Lee for me. I don't have sims but I've built into maneuverability and speed as well as agility with Propulsion mod. I got Guepratte and Cunningham on for some more speed and accuracy. Not maxed, but it hits 36.4kts at present and does it in pretty short order.

Obviously the Baltimore played awfully but the Bortas didn't seem to know what it was doing and the two DDs got overconfident. At least four ships not playing their part to get the win. Nearly half the team..

Bortas has the exact same 30mm Edinburg armor lol. He clearly could survive ochakov enough to dish some damage. These guys are terrible.

Constellation? No. I’ve used him for the hybrids and he’s fine. I don’t know how much he’d benefit the other BBs without the air strikes though. Most of his skills are for the air strikes.

Its way to easy reaching tier 7 obviously. Remove winbonus for all teammembers. Just give it to top 3 players on each side. At least they knew what to do. Well most of the time...

I blame wargaming for these matchups, they assemble the teams and it’s usually very lopsided, they could simply even the teams by using win rate for each player to equally distribute teams…

It’s unfortunate. People are just kind of bad at cruisers generally. That’s probably why most games are majority BBs and DDs
