Hello again, just a quick update for you. Finally for the first time in a very long time i have managed to get my HBA1C in normal range, that's since starting on Dexcom One. However, i have now been told that because of that ' there is little chance of me getting on a pump......like at all and if i really want to go on one i'm going to have to push the Diabetes Care Team relentlessly . This is not the news i wanted. I hope you're well and doing OK. Quick question, have you Heard of the "Dexcom One Plus"?

Absolutely agree about the libre 2, I've had about 12 failed ones since the start of June, either crapped out half way, or really dangerously inaccurate readings. I can only conclude something has changed because they used to be fine, and I swear I'm not doing anything daft. The fact that the support staff replace without question, surprise or even wanting the old one back for analysis most of the time, suggests they know there's an issue. I'm considering the dexcom one too, also in the UK like you, so thanks for the video! Quick question: is there a phone desktop or lock screen widget showing your BG for the dexcom one?

I don't use one, but that doesn't mean it isn't available 😁 Come to think of it, that would be pretty useful.

Interested to see if you still made the decision to change. Particularly in light of the fact that, with the new LibreLink app, the Libre 2 is now also a rtCGM like the Dexcom One. I know you said you had issues with accuracy with the L2 but it would be interesting to see a comparison when they are both running as proper rtCGM's.

I have changed to Dex One. At least, for the time being. I'll try a comparison with L2 once the app issue is resolved.

Its good if using insulin pens as its giving constamt readings. Ive used dexcom one and libre 2. My little girl is on dexcom g6. I want a pump and its ready for me but im hesitant as they still want me to use dex one.

You actually ment to give the sensor 12 to 24 before it will start to give correct readings. The dexcom also more accurate than libra 1&2 but libre3 is the better of them all.

Would Dexcom Clarity work for sending data to my HCP? I'm on a mobile as I don't have a computer.
@diabeticdaduk Жыл бұрын
Yes. Your HCP should be able to access your data via Clarity.

I am attending a training session at the doctors on Friday afternoon for the Dexcom 1 and they will be giving me a starter kit. Does the starter kit come with a month's worth of sensors, I ask as Google says it does but we all know that Google can often be wrong.

With the d1 sensor working after 12-14hrs can the sensors be applied early before they are activated? I currently apply my libre 2, 24hrs before i activate it as i found that the readings are much more accurate that way.

Great question! I've never tried it, but I've read that others do pop on the next sensor before the current one expires.

We thought perhaps it was not so helpful for people who need to share their bg data with their health professionals, potential support people or family.

I agree. That's such a useful feature which missing on Dexcom One.
