Today on the DLC for Brotato Abyssal Terrors we play as Saver using my favorite strategy to go for Thief Daggers - a weapon that has a chance to give bonus material upon crit kills. While it can be quite dangerous, given that everything is more expensive and one goal is to stop spending money so the Piggy Bank accumulates additional material and turning that into bonus damage, it can also easily escalate into a huge amount of earnings and thus damage.

The video is extra long, usually I trim more and explain less (just because we also got 170+ videos on the game and I don't want to repeat everything each time), but I thought it might be nice for those that want background noise and have been missing the uploads. Planning no. But there are different reasons why a video ends up being uploaded and one reason Vampire Survivors kept appearing is I still had fun, it was easy to do and I had access to the sprites. Sadly past tense. For Brotato now the same things apply. The devs had sent me all sprites of literally everything in the game (like, literally lol, really appreciate it, makes thumbnails so much easier), so whenever I face a day where I don't know what to do or my initial idea kept failing/takes longer than expected, it will most likely end up being a Brotato day - as well as random times when I just feel like it. But it won't continue as a "every second day" or in general as a regular upload.

I won a saver purist run recently. I used ghost flints and the only item I was allowed to get is padding. I tried it a lot in the past but could never manage. I got super lucky with early padding and then managed to get through the difficulty spike in round 7-9, then it was smooth sailing.

43:02 the chance you see there is the chance if you are *before endless mode*. In endless mode there's a multiplier on the chance depending on the wave. actual_chance = written_chance * (1 + (endless_factor / 2)) endless_factor is 0 for waves 1-20. After that for wave n, it is calculated by endless_factor(n) = endless_factor(n-1) + 0.02 * (n - 20) That is, it's 0.02 on wave 21, then increases by 0.04 for a value of 0.06 in wave 22. Increases by 0.06 for 0.12 in wave 23, increases by 0.08 for 0.20 in wave 24 etc. That way you can easily reach 100% cursed enemies quite fast, even though the game only states a much lower cursed enemy chance

dex there is an exploit with the fish hook. if you lock an item, go to the next wave, check the hook for if the item is cursed (by checking if the hook has pity bonus). if not return to main menu via the pause menu. go to resume game. this will take you back to shop just before you started the next wave. repeat until the fish hook doesn't show pity chance and complete the wave. this guarantees you curse an item in the shop. little tedious but worth it for cursing a crucial an item for a run.

i love how dex repeatedly forgets about sifd's relic, but it is also personal for me. Sifd's channel has brought me to dex, and i think he shouldn't be forgotten like this, even though it's only his in game item.

@@DexTag you always ask why things fly at you and grab the gecko becuase you need the change to instantly collect, which is usually already at 100 or more procent at that time.

@@Riftchguardian I asked why things fly to me because I wasnt hitting there. The answer was the incubation stations popping/getting destryoed, which creates material and can happen anywhere on the map. I take the Geckos because they are cheap and limited to 4, once out of the pool it's easier to get what I want. I don't think I've once forgotten that I have Sifd/4 Geckos, the effect is quite visual ^^

Okay Dex: Buccaneer and Grenade Launchers. The Buccaneer reload reset ability includes the long reload time after every 2 grenade launcher shots, giving you full auto bouncing explosives with virtually zero downtime. It gets silly.

On wave 28 when the random material was flying towards you, it was most likely from one of the big aliens entering the building. Because when they do they drop the material they are worth because the game considers it as the enemy d!eing.

i recenrly got a amazing run but i had 1000 atack speed from the flint and a lot of explosion size and damage so after wave 30 i did everything to get nucleair launcher at wave 60 i lost with 3GATLING GUNS THE LEGENDARY and 1 blue rocket launcher and 2 flits and my only goed weapon was the rocket lancher the rest did nothing

I went back to Crash Zone to get Danger 5 on all characters. Definitely finding it's a more difficult map that the new one, and that may just come down to how OP curse can be.

I think the original map is way easier simply because Curse is only good when it helps. If it doesn't, then you face a way harder game. Which is then for me a consistancy issue. Now to be fair, most characters can rather easily get so strong that it doesn't matter

Had a cursed mirror with -21% Item Price, the Coupons only gave -16% combined. The effect is lost when the Mirror is used

I have been reassured that dex is dealing with a full on armor neglecting problem. At the end of wave 15 he tells himself to get armor from the level up, but proceeds to select attack speed when it shows up. Please find help from a professional horde farmer. It gets worse, a single wave later he even asks "Who needs armor in this game?". We need to help him before it is an uncurable problem.

Dex i think sometimes you undervalue the damage you get from corrupted pearls. Luck is so easy to obtain in bigger numbers in lategame and gives you a solid chunk of % damage. maybe im wrong too, not sure, but you might wanna re-evaluate corrupting your pearls.
