Today on the DLC for Brotato Abyssal Terrors we play as Furion - a modded character that is all about spawning trees and using them as your army, as they randomly equip a random weapon you have equipped and fight for you. As you may imagine, a lot of chaos ensues in the final upload of the year. I don't understand what he was thinking? Why take the item? Just because it's unique? It doesn't have any stats and the effect is purely negative. I haven't finished the video. But I'm almost certain he will blame the high damage of the enemies for the death of the trees and declare them not strong enough for late game...

@@Pro_Triforcer 3 is such a weird game. In some areas, it's really good honestly. But the main story is *miserably* bad, so bad it makes starting a new character just exhausting.

@@TrueChaoSclx It's kinda amazing, that Borderlands 3 is a pretty good game, if you completely ignore the main story. The sidequests and DLCs are mostly amazing.

Agreed. 3's mechanics and QoL are awesome, but a good part of the story made me facepalm or groan. I remember hearing they apparently had to cut some stuff to be able to release on time (although whether it was true or trying to save face is still in the air) but there's still no reason why anyone or anything should be written so badly half the time. At least Ellie's still a sweetheart.

Dex, your damage was coming from the fact that the piranhas were effectively a weapon firing 1 shot every 0.05 seconds for the non-cursed one. With Giants Belt. Every 0.05s enemies being hit by a piranhas were losing 10% of their current HP. Each of your Trees were also firing piranhas that triggered Giants Belt too. Giants Belt is like 75% of your damage.

I think Retromation played through a whole hell of a lot of these dang character/weapon mods last year. There were dozens and dozens of super weird Brotato characters to play, and some funky weapons if I remember correctly. You're going to have a lot of fun.

Many of the modded characters were enjoyable to watch and some seriously challenging. Same with some of the weapons and items. Fun fact: some of the DLC characters and items are tweaked versions of certain mods that were available early on. IIRC mirror was one of those items.

I will be honest the Kaoson jumpscared me. It's one of my favorite guns from borderlands 3. It's great because it fires extremely fast and loads up your targets with a absolute barrage of explosions that can be very satsifying on high firerate characters. It's also a end game exclusive weapon (requires mayhem mode to drop).
