In the beginning of the show I was absolutely not convinced that Patrick could play a young Dexter. I couldn't see him as Dexter the lack of looking like him threw me off and I just wasn't accepting it. But after the first few episodes and this scene especially, he's got Dexter's cadence and voice down to an exact science. It's very impressive and I can definitely see a young Dexter now. Bravo Patrick. The entire cast is actually fantastic and spot on. It was definitely hit or miss with this show and it's a hit for sure. It's definitely going to only be one season though from what I hear it ends heading into Resurrections.

Maybe it could be an "oh crap" moment when the ending of Original Sin is revealed and it ties up the start of ressurection? Idk. I am also very skeptical of your claim that ressurection starts when original sin ends as I find it very hard to believe that a prequel carries information that is important to the sequel so much so that it cant play out without it.
