Guys, it's not that the betta fish in other countries are expensive, it's just that Dexter is selling them at a very low price. He could have easily sell them at 20-30 dollars per fish considering his fish are really beautiful. Keep up the good work Dexter!

Hey Dexter. Has the cost of the Galaxy Koi Bettas dropped in your country? People use to sell them here in the US for about $50 a betta but since Petco started selling Galaxy Kois for half that price. So I'm curious if its affected your market at a breeder.

I don't know , i just bought koi betta here from the main street where local breeders gather up, usually there koi betta cost 100 pesos or 2 dollars , or even 1.5 dollars. There's a lot of breeder here so the competition is strong. The cheaper the better

Since we dont experience winter here i cant exactly tell you the correct answer. But during rainy days i will feed them only once a day because in cold season they cant digest their food so well.

Actually i really need some tips on that because when we usually purchase the fish from the store, i dont know how to quaratine and conditioned them for parasite, i dont want it to event my other fish with disease, therefore i really need some proper step on this... Thank you dexterr!!!!!

@@thisisjoeanne1331 just put it in a separate tank for 3weeks, for every water change, dose it with "General Aid" or just put an almond leaves and a pinch of salt or aquarium salt (see) the back label for dosages per gallon.. examine the Body and Swimming Behavior of your fish, if there is no signs of "ICK, Anchor Worm, or Fungus" then you can start conditioning them by feeding live foods, consistent water change.. for betta fish, you might notice the male, keep building a bubble nest.. =by the way, this is just the way i care for my betta.. you can asked anyone who is willing to help, or you can do some research on google, but google always recommend the rule of thumbs, which is.. for me is a little bit costly.. :-D hahaha watch all the dexter's world video on how to breed Betta, you will learn everything in there, Dexter mention all the DO's and DON'T.. don't forget to take note.. good luck..!!

@@adzharben what abt guppies, i have done sooooooomany research abt guppy.. Guppy can be hardy but if smtg is not right, it will die fastttt! I was so devastated.. Once a fish has disease it spread auickly to the other fish! I feel like i am such a failure even though i know where is my mistake... I did not cycle the tank before adding fish, i did not quaratine them before adding everyone in and i definitely did not check abt the number i can add in 5 gallon tank... I know abt those after all of this happened... I got traumatised by the incident.. I want to restart and do whatever i can for the fish! I really did invest alot of my money and time into it... So i hope it will be worth it!!! Anyways, do you think i should buy those test kit that cost quite expensive to test out the nitrate ammonia level ph and all those? I am quite broke ady 😭😭😭😭😭😭 thank you so much on ur advises that u have given yea.. AAPRECIATE MUCH.. THXXXXX!

@@thisisjoeanne1331 in my experience about guppy, as long as you quarantine them.. it doesn't matter how many fish you introduce to you aquarium, as long as it doesn't over crowd it.. but, after you add the fish that you quarantine, you should do a water change the next day.. if you do water change twice a week, you should make it trice or, just increase the amount of water change, like.. before you do 30%, then after adding the new fish make it 40%-45% for twice a week.. if.. your aquarium does not have aquatic/live plants.. in quarantine, even if it does not have visible parasite, ick or worm or even fungus, you should dose it with general aid, for 3 weeks.. now, about the water test kit, it's a must.. but if you cannot afford one, REMEMBER not to skip your water change.. aside from disease, ammonia, nitrite and nitrate is poisonous to your fish... and, if you add fish, maybe you need also an increase in filtration for you to propagate more beneficial bacteria to slows down the ammonia spike.. don't worry about the PH level, as long as you do not put too much almond leaves in betta tank.. in guppy, of course guppy don't need an almond leaves.. like Dexter's said, if your pet died because of your ignorance in taking care of it, don't blame yourself, instead learn from it/mistakes review your past research, maybe you forgot something..and do not repeat that mistakes again.. every fish keeper will pass along that way.. but, each and everyone of them/us as a fish keeper, we learn the hard way.. hahaha :-D either i, can't afford a test kit..and lost all my goldfish.. good luck..!!
