R.I.P such an impressive and beautifull woman she was awesome and she carried most of the show with her character.

Awesome! Servalan rules! She's such an exquisite villainess! She possesses the ultimate combination--Supreme bitchiness plus icy beauty. Plus, she has the poetic sarcasm of Greg House! This "Supreme Commander is my ultimate hero!

I cannot envision B7 without Servalan as the arch-villain and also in seaosn 2 of B7 she really needed a brand new henchman in place of Travis as we could not have Greif back Croucher would have been better cast as a completely new villain with a totally new name altogether instead of recasting an existing character.

@DrCruel Confidence is quite sexy in and of itself, as is wit and intelligence. She's got all three in incredible amounts.

@DrCruel Oh, she's vile - no questioning that. She just happens to be very stylish about it, and there's something to be said for that. There's a reason the Femme Fatale exists.

Avon is tied with being my favorite character ever, on any show... Servalan- she set the bar for me when judging the "bad guys" of any show. I hate it when the good guys escape, or succeed because their adversary was a bumbling idiot. Servalan though- if they won the encounter, it was by the skin of their teeth, high losses sometimes- she was so competent at her duties, it made every episode she was in one where you were at the edge of your seat- no matter how many times you saw those eps!

She's one of my favourite villains ever - smart, cruel and cute looking in the same time. First Travis was also awesome, he and Servelan were great together. Too bad Stephen Greif quit.

I never thought of her as pretty, let alone beautiful. Having her consorts fawn over her was always a great source of amusement to me. What I rather like about her is that she was actually "bad" - if given half a chance, she would and did kill off the good guys. She was also a notorious survivor, although it got rather ridiculous towards the end.

i think at 1:57 she meant to say SPUNK, but the writers didn't have the balls!!

Servalan was a great Villianess. I would have Katherine Kelly, play her if I could reimagine B7. Lady Loxley is nothing compared to a charcther that even Lord Loxley would fear. I would like to have that guy play Avon.

@Allronix The Black Adder also repeatedly stresses his overwhelming genius over his peers, despite his repeated failures in contests of wit. Would you consider Alan Rickman as Hans Gruber "sexy" because of these qualities? No, not "sexy". Amusing perhaps, in a breathless "what self-delusional insanity is she capable of this time" sort of way. I think I have to agree with Avon on this one.

Servalan was 1978 ... Maggie Thatcher came to power one year later. We got what we deserved - our very own real-life Servalan, ruthlessly wielding her power to surpress the working class and sell off the country's assets to the highest bidder.

@Allronix More like a Femme Buffoon. Still, I liked the characters of the show, and, as foils, Pearce's Servalan and Grief's Travis are hard to beat (let alone Darrow's Avon and his moral ambiguity). It's a great series.
