I’d lowkey get so much anxiety even as a younger child playing on these teams. Like I was under the constant judgment of the other girls. They always made me feel like I was less than them, something about the way they acted. I just gradually began to distance my self from playing soccer because of that, and to this day I haven’t been on a single team since.

is that a rule at your school though? my high school its a rule with the athletic dept that you have to be at the last practice before a game to play. if its a random practice and then you have another before the game thats diff but the one right before a game is mandatory for all sports at my school. and it was also required to stay with your team. we would be in trouble if we wandered off to our family too. i feel like those are common rules.

If you didn’t have a valid excuse or you didn’t let anyone know before then you sat out for the whole game
