I've had two lessons so far, and I thought I was doing horrible. At the end of the second lesson I said to my instructor "I'm not that bad.. right?" And she looked at me and said, "Who said you were bad?" Which made me feel a lot better. Driving is doable! It just comes with practice, and confidence. Especially confidence Edit: After a few painful months of rescheduling and inconvenience of my driving school, I'm gonna go take my road test tomorrow! Wish me luck! Edit 2: I PASSED MY ROAD TEST!!!!

she was taking lessons since 2017, and this video was uploaded in october 2020 (towards the end of 2020). This means she had been taking lessons for at-least three years, and possibly four years. In that time, she had only had 50 hours of lessons. That’s less than 20 in a year at best, and closer to 10 a year at worst. She also had SIX instructors in that time and between those 50 hours , meaning she averaged less than nine hours per inductor over those 3-4 years and 50 hours. Because of the constant changes and disruption caused by constantly changing teachers, and the massive amount of time those hours are spread over, there was likely a lot of duplication and covering ground already gone over. she likely in actuality had only around half the hours she had on paper, and even less useful hours and hours that are useful in actuality. let’s say 20 hours. that’s around 6-7 hours a year on average at best, and just 5 hours a year at worst. her judgement shows she should never be driving, especially in rhe foreseable future.

As for blaming the 9 instructors and then your car she really needs to take a step back and see what she is doing wrong. Also she admitted that she’s now learning to drive in an automatic and takes a mock test in a manual is a big no go. What was she even thinking?!

After 2 lessons, both 2 hours, my instructor has said I’ve got really good spatial and speed awareness. @Kai-vm1sm4 жыл бұрын
funny fact, if she mounted that pavement even worse could have maybe set the airbags off(could have anyway) but to say the least she would have her face rearranged by the airbag.... the amount off power a airbag has when being diploid is stupid, a lot off people dont think about this when sitting so close.
@Kai-vm1sm4 жыл бұрын
@Aug 99 well really it can depend how the curb is mounted, say you hit it 10 mph on a normal size curb it could then also damage the wheel, suspension and even the frame off the car. there not meant to go off when you hit a curb but ive heard plenty off stories where they have, google it im sure there will be a good few stories from people that have done it
@Kai-vm1sm4 жыл бұрын
@Aug 99 each to there own! not my face its hitting! ive seen a airbag be diploid outside off a car in a garage, trust me it goes very fast i even used to have a slowed down vid off it! its extremely fast even slowed down!

I have a feeling that her previous instructors got so irritated with her driving, they simply stopped trying to learn her how to drive in the hope that she would walk away and find another driving school altogether.

3 years. 9 instructors. 50 lessons. Theory expired. Does not know the Show Me Tell Me. No spatial awareness. Blames the car. Attitude could be better. Hoda, honey. Please listen to what Pin has said. Find an instructor, stick with them, even if they need to cancel or rearrange a lesson, don't throw a tantrum and sack them! Get a few lessons in and resit your theory. Then hopefully, within a year, you'll be test standard.
@04smallmj4 жыл бұрын
Her taking an interest in driving and having more motivation would help too, she doesn't seem to have done anything about the theory side of driving outside actual driving lessons. Watching the previous mock tests and learning about other people's mistakes would help her a lot. Plus yeah, her attitude could improve too!

What is the show me tell me rule? I don't live in england so I don't know.
@LauraLeeX7774 жыл бұрын
Show Me - Tell Me is two basic safety/vehicle related questions you are asked on your practical driving test. First will be the "Tell me". Where the instructor will ask a question like "Tell me where you'd find the information for the recommended tyre pressures" To which you'd answer "In the cars Manual or perhaps a sticker on the door." The "Show me" will be to carry out a simple instruction whilst driving. For example "when it's safe to do so, Show me how you'd clean the windscreen." And you'd use the windscreen cleaner to clean the windscreen. On a test, with nerves it's quite easy to forget the answers. If you don't answer them on your test, it counts as a minor fault. Not knowing the answers to any, shows that the learner either isn't ready or isn't willing to make an effort. But they are questions you should know the answers to if you're at test standard. If I didn't know my Show Me Tell Me questions, my instructor would never have put me forward for my test.
@emiliaholmberg33204 жыл бұрын
Since this summer, in Sweden your theory test needs to be compleated before you even can think about doing a drivers test. I am having mine today and I have sat and done mocktests for the theory long after that it was compleated, just so that I always was updated on what I have to know. Learning for life not for the moment.

The only reason this "girl" is on the video is because she wants attention. Vanity, by the way, is without much debate, the ugliest trait in a human being. Not that "eyelashes" have anything to do with driving, but it DOES send a message to everyone that "looks" or "appearance" is the of the greatest importance no matter what is going on. In this case, her appearance is far more important than taking this test or lesson. Just getting started, at the around 5:45, over the next minute, when getting prepared to start rolling, you know immediately she has no idea what she is doing. She does NOT know how a "standard" operates or even what the emergency brake does. When she is "looking around", as if to be actually looking for people or obstacles of any kind, you can also tell, she really doesn't know what she is doing. She is actually NOT looking for anything ....she is merely moving her head around .....MINDLESSLY. At 6:22, she actually glances at the instructor !? I can't really go much further on this video. It is more for people who have no idea how to do anything related to driving. I don't know what the rules are in Britain, but this girl should NEVER drive a "standard". It has been a few years of "learning" for her, and she still doesn't understand a "standard". If everyone must learn on a "standard", then so-be-it ....but this girl will NEVER get a driver's license trying to drive a "standard". . .
