One thing driving schools don't do here (for the most part) is the emergency stop, one of my teachers told us that they are usually injured from the drivers that are just starting and don't know how to break slowly.

Yesterday i had my first lesson for automatic transmission.i have had no idea about driving .my instructor showed few basic and has let me drive to see how is my condition.i had no controll on steering wheel.i was like going too right or left.just want know,is it normal to have this kind and of problem for first day or i am sooo dumb?

If you've never driven before then ofc its normal bc its new to u, once u have a couple more lessons you'll feel more in control. plus watching these vids will help sharpen ur skills & make u more aware to possible hazards/ things to look out for etc so just keep going honestly

I had a mock test a week before my test and got 8 majors and it felt like they were really unwarranted or at least just minors, he then said we should have another 2 hour lesson the week of my test, so l did. when it came to my test l passed with flying colours (2 minors) and looking back it felt like he gave me them majors on purpose to make me think l wasn't ready and to squeeze another £60 out of me before my rest.

I have some questions about the ES. What would the examiner mark if 1. You don’t press the clutch down. 2 don’t put the handbrake on. 3 check mirrors but no blind spots before moving off. 4 check mirrors but only the right blind spot????

Anyone can curb a car, not everyone knows how to park straight/parallel, so it wouldn't make sense to park like that in a test. But yes in general park like you said on these kind of roads.

No! Blocking the pavement for pedestrians, wheelchairs, prams and blind people. You would fall if you did that in a test.
