I think she’s having issues with the biting point because she’s holding the biting point with her foot mid air, rather than the heel resting on the floor. It would explain her foot shaking whenever she would need to hold the biting point for longer, such as when on hills.
@MG-ud9gc3 жыл бұрын
holding your foot on the floor gives you less control
@ed_lifts3 жыл бұрын
I agree, I think that you should use a mixture of heel in the air and heel on the floor. Heel in the air when making large adjusments, e.g. letting the clutch out to the bite point or letting it out fully, and heel on the floor for making minor adjustments to the bite point, e.g. balancing on a hill.

@@MG-ud9gc This is not so, waving your entire leg in the air with your foot on the clutch is less stable. Having your heel wedged on the floor with the forepart of your foot on the clutch is a lot more stable. The problem with many females where they are petite is the length of the foot is insufficient to have their heel on the floor as biting point is higher that the length of their foot.

I think the main thing with most drivers is the relying on the handbrake on hills, I’ve started to take lessons recently and the main aspect I’ve learnt is using the brake, then reaching the biting point on the clutch and then applying gas whilst bringing the clutch up further, takes time to master but is way more effective than using the handbrake all the time
@biiased3 жыл бұрын
So instead of bringing the clutch down and holding brake to enter neutral and pull the handbrake. You bring the clutch down and brake, then once you think you will need to move off you bring the clutch to the biting point and quickly step on the gas, removing your foot from the brake pedal without needing to enter neutral or pulling hand brake? Is it hard to get the timing down or not. btw my first lesson is on Saturday

7:10 there should be lane lines/dotted lines to show the flow to the right of the lane. There is litterally no marking to guide you into what looks even with a very wide angle lens confusing, and the entry isn't visible until you drive up. Her speed therefore i think is fine if you don't know where you're going Also in Australia you cannot park on the right like that, your vehicle must face the correct way for the flow of traffic.
