Beautifully presented, eloquently narrated, and I feel I was taken along on this experience with you with your use of sense-of-place b-roll and calming music. You have great ideas too, I mean, beer and cheeseburgers after a shoot, how can a day get any better than that? Particularly when you get the most incredible set of images possibly of the year! Cracking stuff, so hitting 5k subs is well deserved 🔥👌👍

Cheers Gary, I'd always say that capturing the pixels is only about 50% of the process. It makes no sense to me that people have modern digital techniques available to them and feel that there is some sort of badge of honour in creating something without using them. That said, I'm willing to bet that the very same people who express those sorts of opinions turn up on location by car, not riding a horse! Go figure! 😊👍

Another beautiful video, I’m getting through them! It’s nice for those that cannot, or don’t want to hike any distance to know there are stunning views next to a lay-by. Can I ask how early in the morning you got there, did you know from the weather forecast there was a likelihood of mist and lastly would you ever be tempted to move smaller rocks in the foreground for a better composition?
@DGriffGallery3 жыл бұрын
Hi Sue, thanks a lot for tuning in! OK here we go: 1. It was about 08:00, that time of year we didn't need to get up ridiculously early for first light. 2. Yes the low cloud was forecast, Darren had driven about 200 miles so we got what we were given, but we'd have climbed to a summit on a clear day. 3. Yes I would move rocks that would not inherently damage the location, eg. by causing erosion to a riverbank or lake shore. In this case I did actually clone some out of stills! 😊👍
