Mehendi भाई is very interesting and knowledgeable person. He didn't shy away to get out of that hardcore islamist identity and prodly said and even shared roots of Baltistan people with Bon culture. हमारे gardhwal में तो यह कब का विलुप्त हो चुका है अब बस कुछ रीति रिवाजों में देखने में मिलता है। मुझे लगता तो था कि baltistan , Khebr Pakhtunkhwa और kalash community के हमारे Himachal/ Uttarakhand से रिश्ता है परंतु इन्होंने confirm कर दिया। Very informative video. People like Mehndi भाई should be a representative from minorities Balti community and our government should do something for protection of this rich heritage and Balti language. He didn't shy away to tell that the Islam in India was not produ t of arab muslims (which is mainly based on baseless rules and hate) while it is deen of(with help of) persian sufi saints like aamir Kabir , bulleh shah, Mansor al hajj etc. Sadly most part of this beautiful sufism is getting converted into hardcore arabic islam in India. Local community of Baltistan is also fighting against such Maulvis who enforce such rules and forceful imposition of arabic islamism. May people like Mehendi born in every village who protect their rich culture. Iam really very impressed. Thankyou team Baramasa 🌼
