A really good talk. You reminded me of Victor Frankl, who was mentioned by Steven Covey in his book, Seven Habits.. The important take away was the NEUTRAL moments. We tend to take some things for granted. We realize the importance of NEUTRAL moments when these would no longer be available. A business visitor who was regular, and now he is not able to visit that often. Only then I realized that this was the REAL THING. But yet there is the tendency to give importance to some events, that we set ourselves for disappointment. Your insight that the SAMSKARA would be making you react was very important and useful.

Suffering is not necessary and not desirable. It can be eliminated (for humans at least) by not having kids. If there are no sufferers there is no suffering. But people are selfish and intellectually dishonest/brainwashed so they keep reproducing to use their kids as personal slaves and future work slaves. Peace.
