I am almost 50. Yet this dharma talk resonates within every part of me. I now know what seeds I would want to cultivate in me more. (Sometimes i forget !) I am grateful, 🙏 thank you

I keep coming back to this dharma talk whenever I need to recalibrate, reflect, internalize and heal. It's a powerful reminder on how we should stop seeking answers, love and validation from external factors, but to look inwards instead. Thank you for this wonderful gem, Sister Dang Nghiem.

I am 30 years old, pretty far from being a tween/teen, but I resonate so much with this talk. This is exactly what I needed to see and hear today. Thank you so much, Sister Dang Nghiem. I feel inspired to cultivate more ways to relax and enjoy life deeply outside of social media.

Sister D is my favorite Nun. I have all her books and have read them several times. I always find something new. I exchanged emails with her a year or so back. She gifted me something that has been so helpful to me. She is whom I go to in my thoughts when I feel overwhelmed. A few minutes of mindful breathing when I ask her to breathe with me brings me back to peace. Thank you Sister D. I love you.

Gratitude and Blessings for this talk. With a suicide every 40 seconds around our world now and almost half being teenagers these conversations are vital. Would love seeing these in every school in the world and starting in grade school to instill habits of self worth and an understanding of harm of much social media. May all beings love, respect and honor ourselves and thus each other. Living a heartfull life.❤

When you so lovingly invited the teenagers to come to the front, the teenage part of me began sobbing for they never encountered such care. The focus of you practice on supporting young people is truly noble. 〰♥

Sister D! You are so kind and compassionate. I even feel this immense love is unbearable so I cry while listening to you. But your sense of humor made me laugh again 😊 Clearly I’m not quite used to this type of true love and happiness and I have buried myself in the “fast food” type of love and happiness for so long… I will need to spend the rest of my life unlearning and relearning how to love myself and others. I told my mom about the immense healing power that Buddhism has and that all kids should learn this from childhood. She thinks that it’s bad for the kids. Oh my, no wonder I suffer… I’m glad that plum village is teaching kids these priceless lessons! 🤍

I don't know who this is for but if there's someone here who has been struggling with hopelessness from constant narcissistic abuse from people practicing self love around you and naturally you're an empathic loving/giving person... you're not a people pleaser or traumatized to behave as a loving/giving person. You do not have to do all the meditation/yoga/affirmations to get to a place of peace and "enlightenment' that constantly seems like menta/emotional work when life circumstances constantly breaks you down and sucks out your life and exhausting you of your autonomy. If you're downcast running on low energy, hanging on my a thread in the spiritual treadmill and this trend of everyone seeming to be on and working for them and not for you because there seems to be no break. I'm here to let you know whoever this is specifically for that God is real, Yeshua (Jesus) is real and alive and if you reach out to Him to come into your life to heal everything with full surrender, He will reveal His character to you, His presence and heal/restore/change you in ways you never imagined and the people around you from the inside out because of your still small voice and faith to reach out to Him. Turn away from practices demons have distorted to become "like God" there is truly a Father figure no human beings can be perfect in, One who will mend things you thought you forgot about but deeply in your subconscious and lift darkness off of your life in a time-line that is not your own personal effort to struggle to get there/get positive/get "self love" and turn into a narcissist bc the world treated you with such take/take/take mentality. You don't go at this life alone. This meditation and all this is temporary. Whoever is reading this, God of Israel of the Bible is for you. Cry outloud to Him and invite Yeshua into your life for complete healing not of your own personal efforts. You're not meant to do this life alone. Hang on and keep holding on and cry out to Yeshua (Jesus) for help. He is with you and He is for you. Don't give up. Keep praying. Amen
