The time I heard, "If you're watching this, I am dead." my brain had stopped functioning, I didn't even think if it was a joke or real, my mind was just blank. When I realised we had actually lost him, I cried for a long time. He was really brave and never deserved what he had to go through. Rest in peace, Techno.

I wasn’t too worried when he announced he had cancer. I was almost optimistic about him recovering, especially after him telling us he was almost better. Then this. I love you so much Techno. You helped me during my harder times and the times I felt alone. Being diagnosed in 2019 with thyroid cancer destroyed me, but Technoblade carried me through. The word/name Technoblade should have its own meaning now, like strong or brave. He was amazing and lived his best life even with cancer trying to cut him down, he made us videos and even updated us on everything… He is not dead to our memories, and I fully respect and feel for his family (mother, father and I’m pretty sure he had a younger sister too), who are having it way worse than any of us (and that’s saying something!). I’ve been in denial for the majority of his journey fighting cancer, and thought that he would definitely recover. I had been hoping that he would suddenly just appear again, out of nowhere, like he had used to do when he disappeared for months. A few months ago, a friend of mine died to a brain tumor. She was young, only fifteen when she passed. I wasn’t very close with her, but we were in some clubs and sports together, so we talked and spent a lot of time together. She was so kind to everyone, and she tried to make everyone happy. She was a great person. When I was sad, she cheered me up. When I needed a hug, she was there. Her name was Abby. And then, a month ago, Technoblade passed. When I heard of Abby’s passing, the first thing I did was watch a Technoblade video to cheer me up. That’s what I always did when I was sad. When my grandfather died last year, when I was going through so much pain and trauma and the screams became too loud, I drowned them out with his voice. And then, he was gone, just like Abby, and it reopened a wound that I thought had healed. In fact, it cut even deeper into the wound, it hurt me more. I couldn’t sleep the night of June 30th. I didn’t sleep much better over the next week. Remembering both of them was painful for me. I know they’re both in some kind of Heaven now, looking down on everyone. Alex is watching from the throne he took from god, and I believe that Abby is beside him, one of the purest angels.

Techno passing away showed me how easy it could’ve been for my mom to also die. She had breast cancer and it took a toll on everyone. Closer to the end of her recovery Techno revealed that he was diagnosed with cancer (on my birthday might I add) I wasn’t worried, especially after watching his video, he was so optimistic, as usual, i felt that he was going to be ok. How couldn’t he? He was the blood god, he never dies. Then, the video was posted. So long Nerds. That hit me, hard. Like a ton of bricks right the face. I had just bragged to my mom minutes before like “check this guy out, I’ve told you about him before, he’s epic” proceeded to tell her about him and his character. The cried in my room. Went to find my mom again, to tell her and make her cry with me cause she’s emotional. It hurt. So much. I thought he was getting better? Then the video? Crushing. But I’m happy to see so many songs and other tributes to Technoblade aspiring up. It’ll keep his memory alive. It’s so hard to accept he’s gone, but now he’s taking over the kingdom of god, he still hasn’t lost. He’s just moved on to harder challenges. Over 10 million people have been affected and brought closer together by one single man. Fly high man. I think I ranted a bit too much..

Thank you for making this song. I miss Techno a lot, it’s been months and I still do. Every time I see him mentioned somewhere, I break down. Life can be a dark nightmare, and it’s people like Techno that can let people be lost in a dream. Their death may temporarily make that dream wither, but it can’t disappear, as the memories they have given other people will never leave. When someone dies and the world puts their souls into making many beautiful things for you, then it is not worth feeling sad about it forever. Techno’s passing took many people a while to process, even myself, as I was watching the video, I was waiting for it to say “sike, still here” or smth like that. His death was tragic, but the world is still turning and we will have to survive without the amazing content and wonderful humor of the one we miss so dearly. Anyway, good song! I was the only one who was willing to give up my heart, knowing it would still kill me. I would've been happy to see him live longer. I wish that all of you, will find your happy place. Its okay, to be angry. Upset.. Or even feel like it shouldn't happen. Yet, death shouldn't mean to make you upset, remember all of the good times u spent with them. This song speaks to me. It helps me cope with all the losses I've had over the years. In 2016, my cousin died of a brain tumor, caused by not taking her vitamins. She was perfect, and so nice to all of my family. She slowly lost her mind, saying random things and becoming so broken that she couldn't even recite her ABC's: She just kept saying random numbers. In 2018, we lost our family cat, 12 years and living out on our porch. She was wonderful and always comforted us when we were sad. In January, 2022, our two new family cats, two males, were taken by the dog that our neighbors owned, probably eaten alive. Or perhaps they're off living new lives. 2020, those cats' siblings, a female and a male, died. The female died of being run over; the male of a dog attack, and a gun to the head after being wounded. I cried to this song, but it felt renewing. Thank you, DHuesta. This is a great song, made for great people and their losses, and made by an even greater man.

Very untrue. We knew and loved Technoblade before he went. All losing him to cancer did was hurt his family, friends, and fans. At least he's at "peace" now.

This is shown in an example of thousands upon thousands of people wishing farewell, and countless games adding tributes within. The loss of techno has made the community realize that he had an even greater affect on everyone than we already knew, showing us he was worth so much more.

Honestly, my brain is still trying to process this. I remember trying to watch Technoblade in the past around four to six years ago and clicking off of his video because one of his orphan jokes that I found disturbing since I was extremely young, and turns out I loved Technoblade deep down without ever really realizing it, and I never watched his videos again since last summer, and I saw the video of his father talking about Technoblade's death a short bit after it was released, and couldn't reach the end at all. I was crying way too hard for my own good, and since then I realized what I've missed, and now, two years later. Nine months before the two years after Technoblade's death that I watched Skeppy's video "Technoblade Never Dies", I decided to finally watch him. And now I cry every single time I even see bacon, porkchop, or even a pig dying in Minecraft, because it reminds me of him. And now whenever I can at school, I just draw Technoblade, even if I barely watched any of his content yet. I feel so much dread, regret and sadness that I didn't try to watch him again, and that I had to wait two years after he was gone. R.I.P The Blade (If you read until here, thank you xD)

I didn’t know who Technoblade was aside from my friend showing me small clips. I found him funny, I liked it, though I didn’t watch him myself. My friend wasn’t responding to her texts a few days later, and I was wondering if something was off. I soon found out that Technoblade had passed away. Last year I lost three family members my mom committed suicide, my two uncle’s died of medical conditions and before my mom died I lost my brother to suicide as well. This really helps because I haven’t fully recovered from my mother’s death.. I still dream about her being here with me so this song really brings tears to my eyes. My condolences to your grandma. The part that saddens me the most about Technoblade's death is the fact that he died so young. 23 is too young for a cancer patient to die, at least in my book. My heart absolutely shattered when I heard his father say "If you're watching this, I am dead" even if I didn't watch him much, from the time I heard he had cancer, to now, it hit me. I had to do something but I couldn't. He made so many of us happy. The king shall never be forgotten. It was therapeutic, but now he's gone, we have to keep his legacy living. I admit, we probably all thought it was a prank at first, but he wants us to be happy. He wants us to be happy while he is up in heaven. I was hoping it wasn't real. I havent been watching techno for that long but his death still hit me so hard. In the 2 years i have been watching him, some of the most fun and bright moments have just been me watching him. By now i have watched his SMP Earth, DSMP and Hypixel stream. Despite that, there is just this feeling of emptiness inside of me which doesnt go away. This song really helps to connect with the memories that i have of him and if only for a few minutes, it helps to wash away that feeling of emptiness in my heart.
