@@Kingdevil582 Disagree. CSK had a unique batting strength that even number 10 used to be Deepak Chahar or Dwayne Bravo or Mitchell Santner. Even number 10 could hit sixes to bowlers like Boult or Bumrah. This is not the case this year. With Chahar and Shardul no more in the side, CSK's batting will struggle. If the top order collapse like 30-4 or 40-5, there are less chances of winning. We dont have a reliable fast bowler. Pathirana and Mukesh will be leading the attack. They are too young compared to other teams. When we have to go with 2 spinners, it will be a difficult decision to choose between Ashwin and Noor. Tripathi in my honest opinion is replacement of Moeen Ali, not Mitchell. Curran is the replacement of Mitchell as an all-rounder.

CSK never picks hitters smashers etc... They pick touch players and consistancy. CSK franchaise earlier 160 is average and they win that total. Now they targeting 180 average and they can defend that. They always pick very balance team and they give freedom to explore the players and they became match winners too... Rayudu, Uthappa, Rahane , Dube... all are on paper very underrated, once they wear Yellove jersey, they became world class... Hoping Tripathi or Hooda will get into this bag.

Bro, dont forget Vijay Shankar. Who knows he plays the middle order pressure shifter role in CSK, just like Moeen. You cannot predict an old player moving to CSK. He can do anything. Shankar had a fabulous season with GT recently. Maybe CSK accomodate him in place of Rahane/Rayudu.

Other Franchaise need hitter, CSK took exp. players who are very skilled, They say only one thing, you dont worry about ur wicket we have long batting order but need quick runs from you. This freedon gaves batsman easy to play... And they give long run 6-7 matches, if he failed then replace... This 2025 squad also we had long batting order till 9 as Ashwin. So Tripathi will strike like Liam Livingstone, only they struggle after Dube No.4, After that we dont have power hitters, so we need Overton to cover that slot and come after 15th over to smash along with Dhoni. Still we can get over 230 in any conditions. Same way we can restict big teams under 180, 10/14 matches. Balance of Batting and bowling so good this year.

Harsha is wrong. Hooda and Tripathi will both play, and their roles are so different. Tripathi will play Raina/Rahane's role. Hooda will play that finisher role MS used to play. Curran will play the Albie Morkel kinda role. The only problem is a finisher who can be consistent enough

Hooda is our Rayudu replacement. Not having an indian at 5-6 below Dube cost us lot last year. If you remember, we tried moving jadeja or moeen sometimes up with mitchell, but it just not worked. Hooda, like Rayudu can be that pinch hitter who can bat if wickets fall early and can also provide a good finish if required.

Not best auction look what MI got in other hand destructive Champion side team look at that bowling unit bumrah chahar boult 12 overs they are done with any team. Other 8 overs are left to play with. Deepak chahar may go for runs. But don't forget they got santer the experienced quality spinner. Equal good team I see is SRH. Chennai definitely not good picks compared to others. Let's hope how well the team CSk works. Prblm is they retained Ruturaj & jadeja for a marginally high price. They should have convinced some what around 16 crores saving 4 crores in total and bought Noor ahamad around 8 crores for max in that way should have got 6 more crores in total could have went for a quality bowler like shami or bhuvanesh or may be KL rahaul for making the middle order strong. Remember u can't have more the 4 overseas player in team so with the pick u have u can't make them all play. Good Indian players is what makes the team balance that's where the Mumbai Indian shines most of them r Indian players nd they could exchange the foreign options that fit in easily. Good only at Chepauk Will choke at high scoring and anti spin pitches No hard hitters and pacers Dhoni bats for only 7 balls roughly which doesn't affect match outcome much
