The problem with Dhoom 3 is that it took itself too seriously. Dhoom series is a fun entertainer and Aamir Khan killed out all the fun in Dhoom 3. Also, there’s too much focus on Aamir Khan’s story. Jai & Ali are an integral part of Dhoom series along with the villains and in this one they hardly had any scenes. Jai & Ali provided a balance in the previous 2 movies which wasn’t in Dhoom 3.

Dhoom franchise is supposed to be Indian fast and furious...cop vs law breakers. It's not some award winning script. If you enjoy actions without looking for deep meaning it works. Comparison to PK is nonsense because PK wasn’t released when Dhoom 3 released. The twins was the reason why the film was appreciated and it generated a staggering 550 crores in 2013 and was the highest grossing film. The awful things said about the film were not there when it came out, it came from jealous fan groups. The negative comments by OSR can be attributed to all Dhoom films because they all follow a formula. This is why this channel’s reviews have not been up to the mark the past two years. They keep contradicting themselves and believe fan group comments.

Out of all the Top stars, Hrithik is the most Talented. The range he has shown from Sexy thief in Dhoom 2 to a Man child in Koi mil gaya is not something everybody can pull off easily. Aamir struggled to do both in Dhoom 3. His acting as the manchild was the worst. He was struggling even in Lal Singh Chaddha.

Dhoom is supposed to be a 'rollercoaster ride' that is insanely high on adrenaline high blood pressure movie. Dhoom is supposed to be a movie which defies the 6 elements of nature while being as realistic and logical looking as possible. Dhoom is supposed to have stylistic action, flaming hot fashion, high sex appeal and high tech machines. Every dhoom villain in 1 and 2 was handsome or beautiful the problem with 3 was Amir Khan who isn't handsome or sexy in any human language, not at least as per the criteria of dhoom, let me tell you they should have brought hrithik and john together for dhoom 3 and said they were brothers the whole movie would have been instant Bollywood success and both trying to take revenge on abhishek. Or Bring in arjun rampal for the role instead of amir and remove the whole 'oh i have a mentally disabled twin' plot.

You seriously think that box office numbers equals quality? Wake up to reality- the only reason why this movie worked at the time was because of the dhoom brand that John hrithik aishwarya and abhishek held up with great direction for action movies of that time, the second reason being the anticipation for the movie the first 2 movies came with a 2 year gap while this one came 7 years after dhoom 2, not to mention the fact that the trailer and all the promotional stuff had very melodramatic moments and that song 'bande hai hum uske' after the movie was released it had the backstory of the character for the first time in dhoom franchise which touched the sentimental people in the right place, the Last reason being Katrina and her stripper pole dance in the song kamil. To summarize this movie was a bait to properly churn and digest the dhoom brand. About the arjun rampal part, let me tell you he could have been the best choice for the role and I'm not kidding, his version of dhoom could have been a lot better than even the predecessors because of him alone, he wrote his own movies they were great and if he worked on dhoom he would have modified the script and made it even better and most probably asked to bring a better director or bring back the og one who directed D1 & D2.

PK, Laal Singh Chaddha, Dhoom 3 same acting same expressions, some of them look like borrowed from Rancho of 3 idiots. Made a joke of mentally challenged people with his kidney touching performances and he is called mr perfectionist. Finally people realizing they loved his movies for content and body transformations and make ups and get ups but never for any memorable iconic performances. Aamir always gets overshadowed by the supporting cast and side characters. 😂😂😂 Not a single mention of Prestige. Cinephiles my foot. According to them PK is a great performance because it is in a good movie but the same performance here is bad because it is in a bad movie. And no the vfx weren't flawless. There are many scenes where it is obvious that the two Aamirs are not even physically there or looking at each other. Performances and vfx in Fan are flawless and Don movies have so much more meat in terms of slick stylish smart action thriller plots and the lead performances as Don and Gaurav are awesome but these guys trolled them too but did not troll Aamir's Mazaa performance enough and just brushed past it lol. This is called bias.

With dhoom 3 it worked at some parts didn't at others but I would say lal singh chadda was where it didn't work at all. There's reason we hate it guys it's not because of actor because they ruined what first two believed in it tries taking itself too seriously and it's not what we wanted when we watch Fast and furious franchise we watch it because we love the fact that it's very self aware and doesn't want u to take anything seriously wherein this one tried so hard to be taken seriously in second half which ruined this movie

The problem with this movie is that it lacks style..Dhoom series is stylish action which makes it fun..The bike chases in the first one and the different kind of robberies in the second one are still good to watch..Also,John and Hrithik had the charisma to pull all of that without looking ridiculous..Aamir’s character is just serious,no unique elements to it..He was a circus master..They could have done so many things with that,but didn’t..The whole twin brother arc is just unnecessary according to me..And,the end scene just seems bizarre not emotional..

Its not about defending but the sheer disrespect from the reaction to the first movie. It’s definitely not logical but to crack taunting jokes with it kinds of hurts the childhood memories.
