Thank you Drhu for letting him talk and not interrupting. Great podcast, really useful information.

This is the best! I am now 40 pounds overweight, spent the last year trying to figure out how to approach weight loss, and with all the information out there, was confused where to start and endlessly scrolling looking for the best solution for me. Well, I have maintained weight historically through counting calories and exercising (in no particular way) and it worked. So, I am going back to hyper focusing on those calories as recommended here. I was literally trying to figure out if something was different, now that I am older (60) and post menopause thinking there was some other way I most approach weigh loss. The one change I will make now is focusing on higher protein foods, like greek yogurt, that are satiating. I used to eat more higher carbs in a calorie deficit, it worked back then, but I do feel foods that are higher in protein will help. Just had to share.

This was great because Stan's approach seems both open-minded and lacks that "know-it-all--do-only-this" thing that many "pundits" can have. (I didn't say that as positively as I intended, but you know what I mean.) Dhru--thank YOU for your equally open-minded and "endlessly curious" interviewing style.

I like how you address that the source of your calories matter. I have lost 60lbs and find that this is very important. Eating whole unprocessed foods are more satiating and don’t really create spikes to your blood sugar and keep your energy level on even keel so you don’t feel a need to overeat like I would if I was eating chips or candy.

Its so strange to hear food noise being spoke about as I was in GLP1 support groups for years at this point. I always like to read the other side. These drugs are going to be life changing for OCD and drug addictions.

By the time you think you have time you don’t remember this video anymore and other 10 - 15 videos have been made in youtube that are similar so you won’t even think anymore about this one😂 (my own experience, sometimes I have time but not always🫢🤭)

I ate a pork chop yesterday that's all 1 pork chop, wasn't hungry. You guys keep banging the drums of ultra processed foods, and this damn semiglutide. No, one actually discusses health issues.

Wait - what have I just heard... because even with really incredible food in this hyper 13:27 palatable World which even a lot of Wellness Foods quote unquote companies 13:32 that *****I'm an investor in the foods are super tasty**** it's just easy to eat a whole bag of chips even if they are made 13:40 with cassava flour and avocado oil right it's just it's just too easy because 13:46 they taste incredible it's not just you know laay potato chips and Kellogg cereal and these other things there's a *** You are an INVESTOR into foods that you know could be ''determinal'' to our health, yet here you are promoting wellness? Investor in CGM company as well - so it is all about making money? I am missing something in plain sight? It would be like running a stop-smoking clinic where your main sponsor is Philip Morris International Please correct me if I have not fully understood what was said - thank you.

I have been struggling with dropping weight although I eat healthy. I think I have been over consuming salmon. I think it could be the fat content.
@MM-ho1iuАй бұрын
Salmon is calorie dense. A little piece as big as the palm of your hand can have over 200 cal. Fats are calorie dense foods because 1g of it has 9 cal
