I visited Uxmal and Chicken Itza back in 1984. Oddly, I do not remember either being very crowded at all, in fact the lack of people added to the sites wonder. Both were fascinating. There was something special in the feeling of remoteness. I do not know when that photo was taken but very glad to see they are now protected sites. It was one of the most fascinating trips both visually and learning about the Myan civilization. Thanks for this great video.

Very beautifully shot, There are other sites as beautiful like Uxmal, which is closer to Merida city, but Chichén Itza is a must, the site is big, and it’s very interesting. Great vlog, I was curious to see your take on this place.

This and many were built by Egyptians..who long traveled there thousands of years ago..as well as the pyramid hidden in the Grand Canyon in the U.S. it was used to hold large speeches..still brilliant.
