DHS SWAT excessive force raid on innocent couple

At 6:16 am on Tuesday June 10, 2014 a team of over a dozen heavily armed men in full swat gear smashed my front door, threw flash bang grenades at my cat (a normally friendly cat who greets everyone is now fearful and hard of hearing), demanded that I drop the towel I was covering my naked body with before snatching it off of me physically and throwing me to the ground. According to my boyfriend, the agent with his assault rifle to my back kept eying me up & down like I was eye candy. I requested to see ID and the agent pointed at his uniform that read POLICE and said "Isn't this ID enough for you?" When I told him I could buy that up in Miami he called me retarded and said I was fucking stupid. They spent bout 2 hours trashing my house, even smashing clear glass shower doors and a vintage statue. My boyfriend, who is asthmatic, started having trouble breathing due to the lingering smoke created by the flash bang grenade and asked for his inhaler. The agent aid "do I need to call paramedics? My boyfriend said no, I just need my inhaler can someone get it for me?, Again he was answered with a paramedic offer. Finally another agent asked where it was and brought it out then helped him use it. The video is short because they ripped out my surveillance DVR stating they "can't be recorded". After about 2 hours of pure hell, a female agent asked if there were any laptops in the house. They left us thinking that they were here for child pornography but the more I thin about it, I don't think they would have come in full force, shields, helicopter, etc for kiddie porn.
I'm still scratching my head but have made complains to the ACLU, DHS OIG and the White House but I don't want to just sit there waiting so decided to spread the word and increase awareness.
PLEASE UNDERSTAND THAT EVEN ENCRYPTED WIFI IS NOT SAFE. SOMEONE CAN HACK IT, FORGET YOUR PERSONAL INFO, THEY CAN HAVE YOUR HOME RAIDED... I'M NOT THE FIRST OF THESE VICTIMS, Here is an update, for anyone interested, while rebuilding, I was scammed by a kitchen company so I then created a gofundme account to raise money to hire a reputable company to fix my kitchen.

They have to show ID when requested. Not just some patch that says Police. Plus a warrant when requested. by ripping the cable out I would think that would be tampering with evadence. Not to mention I believe they have to pay for replacement or repair of anything they damage. Most people that they raid don't because they are normaly arrested. check with a attorney about filing a civil lawsuit for civil rights.

I have tried speaking with three lawyers and nobody wants to fight the government. Someone told me to check with Panter, but these past two weeks have just been so hectic. Even though I don't have a 9-5, I still have about 150 beaks that need fresh food & water daily, not to mention the cage cleaning (I breed birds, yes I'm licensed), not to mention the housework, dealing with the insurance company, my public adjuster, getting repair estimates and having to respond to not only these comments, but my friends & family as well. My dad calls me daily to see how I'm doing, I've been put on medication to help me sleep and if I happen to fall asleep without taking it I wake up around 1:47 (odd number, don't know why that time) and I can't get back to sleep... well 2 times I managed to sleep a little more, until about 5

These armed persons on the video above are looking like soldiers of the American army, and these heavily armed people behave the same way how the American army fought in Irak or Afganistan some years ago, or they fought agaist Japenese in WW2. Now these militants - so called "Police" - are fighting agaist the Americans. So the US authorities are fighting agaist its citizens like agaist enemy in a war. To those asking why they did this, let me be clear... We still don't know. I have yet to receive any response. They did not leave me with the part of the warrant that specifies exactly what they were sent to get. I know it says to search computers and electronic media but after I told them where my laptop was, my iPad and other computers, they left without touching any of them. They dismantled my roommates computer but didn't take it. We have out theories which range from someone hacking my wifi (which is easier than you may think), my neighbors son who stayed with us for about two months, or possibly even a bad tip... But at this point, no answer. Rest assured as soon as I hear something I will let everyone know

Kari, Did the agents leave a search warrant return with you when they left? If they took any property, they needed to leave a return that documented anything they seized during the execution of the warrant. Did you or your boyfriend witness the agents plug any equipment into your computers? There is a chance they imaged your hard drives for a forensic analysis. Were you or your boyfriend interviewed? IF so, what questions did they ask? A search warrant required a "reasonable" amount of time for you to answer the door unless exigent circumstances are determined like drugs being flushed down the toilet. I counted approximately 17 seconds from the time they came to your front door to the time they entered. A flash bang for child porn on a person with no criminal history?

Why is the font (date & time stamps on the video) different from the image in the article (truthandaction/org which was a direct link to your youtube channel & this video? At first the emergency lights are rapid-constant but after the first few minutes they pause every few seconds as if on a loop or spliced content added. Near the end of the video, right before the officer turns off the lights at 06:32:23, they are once again rapid-constant without pause. Why does the video suddenly go color at 06:32:48? And finally, It is becoming more common for people in America to be victimized by law enforcement impersonators.

Hmmmmm…… sure are a lot of descripencies in the video, descriptions and the comments by the homeowner. Too many unanswered questions and too many people willing to just take their word for it without any proof. This has nothing to do with DHS. It's SWAT. There is a difference and for someone to claim this was a DHS SWAT raid that's a lie out right in the title. DHS doesn't have SWAT or POLICE on their BPVs. So many sheeple here. You have problems with Math, don't you. How does a 19 minute tape turn into "2 hours of pure hell"? If you think this is "pure hell," you need to spend time as a CASA volunteer. Reading your description and your comments to other people, you seem very anxious and eager to claim your WiFi was hijacked "just in case they find something." Why are you recording your kitchen counter? The camera doesn't even film anyone or any view of any entry. Just a counter. If you were face down near the bathroom with your boyfriend cuffed, how would you see them turning away your camera in your kitchen? That's a fairly big house, so how would he be talking to you about a camera in your kitchen while he's with you by your bathroom? Is this the only camera you have in your house? A camera aimed at a counter? Where are the other cameras and the footage from those? Why would they only care about one camera that is aimed at a counter?

***** You can clearly see the raiding team pack up and go...true, but what about the detectives that are still on scene walking back toward the house as the video cuts? Typically, SWAT or other force entry teams will go in first and clear the structure and let detectives or an investigative party do their portion of the job. The investigators often release the force entry team once they are no longer needed. Way to try and downplay this woman and her terrible experience. From what I see, this woman isn't lying and you called her out for nothing.
