Just saw a FB group post today, someone from California found the Platinum CC and Power Girl. The first releases that I have seen a bunch of people posting from all over the US were: Regular PG & CC and Platinum Guy. It looks like the Platinum PG & CC and the regular Guy are now veing release. I found the first release wave myself at Walmart last week, but only picked up PG. Looking forward to finding Platinum PG soon. Hopefully also regular Guy😅

Excellent review as always. I’m a little more forgiving of the re-use here as he’s wearing a jumpsuit or “cold suit” as opposed to a spandex costume, so the additional sculpting and textures are at least plausible. I think it’s one of better figures we’ve seen in the “reuse era” of the line, and I’m looking forward to receiving mine. As always though, I’m left lamenting what could have been with more of a commitment to accurate costume details and getting the “little things” right.

I think he would work as an Arnold Schwarzenegger Mr Freeze henchman too. The figure looks cool. I remember a different looking version from the wb flash show,

You might be able to add a thin layer of superglue or clear nail polish to the inside of the faceplate so it can have a tighter fit. Let it dry before you plug it on so it doesnt get stuck.

There's that "sigh" again. We should all be happy to have face battle damage as a feature in this figure (for a robot).

I’m a artist and I use a kneaded eraser a lot. It’s gray in color. You might be able to take just a little off the eraser roll it into a little ball and stick it behind the face to hold it in place. That way you avoid gluing it hopefully it will hold the face in place!

My face plates stay on good on my copy of cc but my guy figure has the same problem your cc has.....

Why is the blaster is so small? I need a bigger gun for captain cold, maybe I use the gun of Mr. Freeze and could be so good. Anyway, great review man!

For the faceplate just find some non-dry putty. No more than $3. Maybe a portion half the size of a BB should keep that faceplate in.

@ another option is to brush some clear nail polish into the holes and on the pegs on the faceplates.

I don't like the texturing. It makes it look too modern. I heard someone say it's not the classic version of Captain Cold....Wow they used the same body as the page punchers version! That's disappearing. Now I see why it looks like a modern suit.
