This is way too confusing with all those chars on screen and both duelling parties being shown red on observers map. Have the duelants record their matches and comment on them later on.

Also: do you as observers really need your BO from CTA? Makes you way harder to distinguish from the enemy team for the duelants.

So I have been playing hc ladder and I don't think I can go back to sc. Duels might get me back on the normal realms though. Maybe I make a level 9 dueler or something.

You dont need a mod for window mode. You just need to add -w after the file path in the shortcut. Also check PlugY for some quality of life changes enhancement in singleplay.

Hi everyone, I just wanted to put a Diablo 2 comment on your latest video so maybe a few people will read it. I agree with Llama that Diablo 2 is an amazing game however there is one specific aspect of Diablo 2 that I don't like and the work around for it is janky at best. Early on in D2, I mean right when you leave the rogue encampment in Act 1, you as a new player is not able to fully experiment with any of your mana consuming abilities. After a few swings or casts you are out of mana. Either you wait (or use standard swings) to let your mana refill or you buy/farm potions to bypass this. To me it really makes the early game more tedius than it otherwise should be. Also because of the limited number of skill tree points, you are not really pushed at all to experiment early on, unless you use multiple saves because you want to save your points for better skills later on. Sure LOD helps this with it's passive stats to certain skills but it's not an overall fix. Diablo 3 totally fixes this by having your skills always use a percentage of your resource so you can practicing rotating your resource costing skills into your gameplay style. The janky fix . . . well it's more of a workaround is the playersX command for Diablo 2 (which I really hope is in the remastered D2). For those who do not know, playersX in a single player game, simulates a gamne with 1 to 8 players. just replace X with how many players you want the game to simulate. It doesn't add in the players, it just adjusts the game as if that many players were in the game (but are not). So you get more loot drops, more XP but also more and harder monsters. The benefit of this is you can quicker get to a point where you have enough mana and enough mana regen to actually use mana costing skills without having major downtimes waiting for mana to regen. You can slowly scale the number X is to lower the difficulty (and lower XP/loot) when it gets too tough eventually returning to the standard Player1 (because it is single player after all). In my opinion this is one of the only major issues Diablo 2 has as a game. This is exactly why when I play single player D2, I always use the playersX command early on. This is exactly why an easy respec needs to happen. So we can actually put a few levels in early skills and them remove them when you no longer need the early skills levels. To make the early game less tedius. My other question I have for you Mr Llama is about gold. Do you prefer Diablo 1's gold taking up inventory space or Diablo 2's gold not taking up inventory space and why? Also in relation to the item tetris I do like it as you do but I think it's broken. Small items are often more valuable than large items. Charms are no different, often small charms are outright better than large charms. Unless you are hunting for a specific type of gear slot, you'd just pick up all the rings/amulets and smaller things worth more gold or worth more trade value. Instanced loot needs to happen. Just do it like Diablo 3, so if you find a great piece for a party member, just drop it and they'll pick it up. Really helps stop griefing and loot bots runing through games when you are with random players. Also imagine everyone just waiting to loot a boss and no one wanting to kill it. because they are waiting to raceto the loot. Loot pick up needs ot be fixed for D2 vanilla free for all loot to happen. I'm ok with unsocketing as long you lose what you unsocket. That's a fair happy medium. So you keep the base piece but all the socketed stuff is gone. Finally, your high end player stuff - I think game time played should be rewarded, not just luck. That's a big reason why people quit games. 3000 hours means squat. You could get something amazing on your first farming run or you could spend 3000 hours farming and still get nothing amazing. Time invested should be rewarded. Not just in more lotto tickets (runs at a boss) but actually rewards for your play time. You could say the Diablo 2 lottery is the drug that keeps the fans playing. Hope that each run will be the lucky one. Just skew the lottery a little so It's impossible (no mater how unlikely) to get a ton of great loot in a relatively short time. In short, reward dedication and time played, not just loot finding luck.
